Other than that he tends to wear a labcoat (despite what's evident otherwise in the Foundation mythos), and he wears trousers (though if he's not wearing his coat he's likely to switch to shorts) and shoes.
Backstory: He used to be a member of the Global Occult Coalition (another anomaly-combating organisation with different methods to approaching anomalies than the SCP Foundation) before joining the Foundation, and was the leader of a strike team that took out a minor nature goddess who attempted to perform a magical working that would erase ten thousand years of human history and return it to a pre-industrial state, but couldn't bear to kill her daughter, because it was also his own. In the GOC, he went by the name Agent Ukulele.

Having earned a reputation for swift, elegant, and surgically precise terminations of dangerous SCPs, the Overseer Council has recently agreed to promote Dr. Clef to the head of the Department of Training and Development, in charge of training response teams and field agents.

Although apparently competent at his job, his acerbic attitude and habit of annoying his coworkers by walking around minimal security areas with unfurled cinnamon rolls stuck in his nose has gained him the enmity of several of his coworkers.
