Bow looks around the room.

"...Fine. I'm with a band of convicted criminals anyway. Promise not to tell anyone else. The last thing I want is being labeled a "dangerous Pokémon" and catched by some random kid." She takes a deep breath.


"You remember how I kept insisting I was completely innocent? I lied. I'm a thief. I steal from human businesses for a living. Why? I like collecting stuff. Human objects are fascinating and fun to tinker with. And there's a matter of family tradition, but I'll get to that part."

"I wasn't alone. A long time ago, I used to be part of a gang: the Rainbow Cape Syndicate. My parents controlled the operation. We stole stuff from humans for the greater good of Lumiose City's population of wild Pokémon. It's why I wear a cape. It's a token from the days where I was innocent, relatively speaking. One day, everything fell apart. We were betrayed by some stupid Chatot who turned out to be the right-hand bird of a poacher. We didn't know this at the time. He  tricked us into raiding a truck full of illegally captured Pokémon. Unfortunately, the poachers were around, and they had guns. You can easily figure out how it concluded. I witnessed from afar as my fellow thieves were pierced by an army of bullets. They eventually drove the poachers away, but it was too late. Mes amis les plus proches et ma famille, parents included, perished from their wounds. The remaining survivors agreed to split up and live in isolation." The Eevee starts to tear up.

"What did I learn? People are volatile and can stab you in the back without warning. That's why I don't trust others. Heck, I was surprised when I was able to tell Karma all of this. I've lived by myself for years now, and I'm fine living off what I steal without sharing it with anybody. I would love to have a friend, but at the same time... why? À quoi ça sert? Je ne veux pas me lier d'amitié avec quelqu'un, seulement pour le perdre peu de temps après ! Là! Êtes-vous satisfait de mon histoire sanglante, juges ? ÊTES-VOUS HEUREUX?" At this point, Bow has stopped trying to hold back tears and is just crying quietly.

"...Larmes, mon vieil ami. It's been a long while since I cried. Almost forgot how cathartic it feels to let your emotions rain out of you."

Karma wanted to give the little pokémon a tail hug, but... she just went through everything solid. She settled for pulling her tail around herself.

Human poachers. Caging creatures. So many are content to just go with it.

Double started to sneer when the Eevee began her confession. Bow was giving herself a character study, providing weaknesses for them to exploit. Weaknesses to exploit were Double's weapon of choice! They'd listen with a grin. Using her trauma, they would fill her with paranoia, and then they would bask in the chaos of town voting off an innocent yet again!

But by the end of the story, the grin had evaporated into a half-open frown. The story stung them in the heart and left it throbbing. A classic story of trust and betrayal that always hurt if you weren't the one doing the betraying. After all, parents are a real soft spot for you when you didn't know yours.

"Darling, darling...sssssshhhh..." They sat down next to her. "I think you want a friend so you can remind yourself that not everyone you meet is out to betray you. To experience the feeling of comeradery that was so cruelly torn away from you. The solution to losing someone is never to allow the emptiness fester in isolation." The voice wasn't dripping with anything malicious.

You can tell Lloyd founded Bart fading from existence disturbing as hell. But still, one can sense a little bit of relief in the otherwise-paranoid Lloyd. He still looked paranoid, but now slightly more at ease.

It sucks the kid had to be put in this position, but at least we got one of those damn killers. That's good news for a change. Although him fading out like that... it had to bring back some more memories of that dam cabin again...

Bow looks up to Double Trouble and wipes back tears.

"You're... you're right. At this point, I feel... I don't know how to describe it. I guess not having someone to talk with for years fucked me up more than I initially thought. I've always wanted a friend,  it's just that I didn't know where to start."

"I do find that having a friend helps a lot. I know it's hard to trust people and especially in something like this but I'm sure it at least lightens your heart a little to get that weight off it and tell your story."

I hope it does too, yeah. It's a cruel world.

Incedentally, floran sspotted a... isssue. Ssomeone fucked with our votess yessterday. All of them. You know who. Ssomeone'ss getting a lot of information from thiss. Sso, let'ss change the incentivess a bit here. Will you ssee if there'ss a way around thiss? Do you trusst there iss? Or are you going to choosse the clear option? We'll ssee. PLOT TWISST!

Karma growls and starts pacing. Okay,listen up, folks. Time to lay this all out on the table. I saw Bow get nailed with a nailgun right in front of my eyes while I was talking to her. Then I looked up and saw the perpetrator. With the nail gun in front of them. There are two possibilities here. One. Somebody here failed a spot check, and by that I mean call me Spot.. Somebody has been trying to persuade me that he's trustworthy, quite cleverly, I'll admit I was pretty much taken in, but didn't notice that I was right there talking to Bow when she was killed. With a nailgun. And when I looked up after she was nailed, I saw him right there with a nailgun in front of him. Very pretty work Lloyd, but you slipped up. I knew someone around here was good at the art of deception. I'd had a chat with him about what to look for in the event he died, and someone else was feeding him false info which wasn't used by the killers, both of which made us think he was probably okay… but it's possible he caught on and was trying to ingratiate himself with me.

Then Karma starts pacing and growling in front of Double Trouble Either that or somebody made themself look like Lloyd for the night. Perhaps they're a shapeshifter, hmmm? I may not have been told who's a killer, but I have access to the basic Alliance datasheets for you, DT. I've been saying I've been talking to Bow so it might not be that big a stretch for them to imagine they might be seen if they went after her, and beyond that if they could make evidence look like it came from Lloyd, well… perfect, right? So I think we have to consider both possibilities.

On the one hand… somebody was clever enough to figure out how to use the Ninja's teleporter to make an ordinary kill. And they might not have expected me to be right there having a conversation with their victim.

Looking at their voting records, Lloyd… skipped voting the second day, retracted skipping, and voted to skip again. Voted Nikku the third day, which turned out to be wrong. And… was also the first one to vote Bart, who turned out to be guilty as charged. When, IIRC, it was perfectly possible he wasn't going to get executed, although there was quite a bit of evidence against him. So he might have started that so he would look unguilty when everybody inevitably voted for Bart. Still…

Double Trouble also voted for Bart… but as the second to last person who did, before Bart voted himself to be executed.

Anastasia spent the entire night on the hallway floor, unable to move. However, once day rolled around, she managed to regain her consciousness and stood up.
"SOMEONE SUPPRESSED ME LAST NIGHT!!!!" She shouted at the top of her lungs. She shouted so loud that it might've been heard by a few across the hallway she's in.

"Ah. Good morning, Anastasia." Double Trouble emerges from the warehouse. "Good morning, everyone!"

"Argh..." Anastasia swiped at her dress. She heard what Karma is talking about.
"Is Bow dead?"

"Like she's dead for real? Not a fake-out oopsie on the judges' part?"

Yess, Bow iss dead... Extremely sso. For real thiss time.

"What? Bow is just-"

Upon seeing the remains of Bow, Double just...kind of walks toward her. And scoops up the corpse. Their ears fall.

Since I got Suppressed, that means someone lost points for using their role ability. I would've loved to know who but I can't now that Bow is gone for real!"

"Wait... if Anastasia got knocked out, forgive me if I am wrong here but I do not think the suppressor can both kill and knock someone out the same night correct?"
