Then she looks down to Bow and laughs.] "Where I'm from? I've heard rumors they've got stuff like that in some spots, but nah. See, most of the world burned itself to death like, 500 years ago? Now it's mostly just ruins and remains, people shackling together what's left from long before we were even conceived and trying to make the nearly-inhospitable, hospitable. Punta Ceniza, where I'm from, is a desert outpost por ejemplo. Some idiotas desesperados though, they like to disregard that part entirely and try to put the world right back where it was. It's a losing battle, they have to realize that, right?" [Another swig of the alcohol bottle.] "But I'm getting off-track. No, no flying cars, no supercomputers. Just smoke, ash, and sand, jajaja."

Some time after finishing their tasks, Russell walks in, having tried to (poorly) sew their pockets back together after they burst. He looks at the corpse.
"..." Russell doesn't seem too concerned about the literal death of somebody around here, but it seems like it may be otherwise. We'll see about that. He looks at the newcomer and then glances down.
"... it's Russell. Nice to meet you." The kid looks to the side as he speaks.
... sewing the pockets back in was exhausting, though. Russell feels a bit sleepy; he heads into the meeting room and hovers his hand over the handle of his door.
A chill runs through his spine, though for very different reasons. He decides to hold off hitting the hay again, heads back to where the others are and just... sits, away from the other folks.

Bow then realizes that there's no way that her co-workers are also from the Pokemon world, so some dimensional shenanigans have to be involved somehow. "Pardon me. You all probably come from different timelines, huh? That would explain some of the weird stuff I noticed so far."

I dunno, probably? Does it really fucking matter? All that matters is this place is shit but still better than the city, and also some fucker's going around shooting people for the hell of it!

[Sherry laughs again, taking one last swig from the bottle and tossing it to the side; she'll get up and throw it away in a bit. Then she looks at Voi and nods.] "My internal jury's still out on whether I like this spot better than Punta Ceniza or not. Not really used to the cold yet, and again, the shooter's here, but I also got all of you guys keeping me and each other company. Llamada difícil."

"And I never knew that worlds outside mine existed until fairly recently!" Bow quietly chuckles. "Ummmm... about that shooter who just killed Nikei. Heeko mentioned something about some "Traitors", and that weird kitty explicitly expressed interest in a killing game, which makes me wonder if... no. Why exactly would Heeko wait to disclose the existence of these "Traitors" up until now? Something seems to be off about all of this..."

"From what I understand, the Pianist appears to be Heeko's personal bodyguard," Bow responds, "but I wouldn't go as far as concluding that she's working for these "Tratiors". I do have a lot of suspicions about all of this, I would wait to find some more concrete evidence first. At the same time, if we wait to act until it's too late... no, I don't want to jump to that conclusion just yet."

She crosses her arms, and taps a paw tentatively.

Russell squints his eyes at the conversation. He's feeling a mix of emotions from this whole traitor talk, but he understands that trusting someone in this situation may have... consequences. Not even the hosts. Oh, especially not the hosts. Russell gets a bad feeling from them.

"I would have thought we might be warned of these traitors earlier, such as when we were carrying the supplies from the helicopters. Being out in the open like that could have made us more vulnerable to attacks, after all. Or was it a personal vendetta against Nikei for some reason?"

To say Gerald was nervous would be an understatement. And not just because of the traitor talk. With his luck, it wouldn't be unlikely for him to fuck up badly while doing the task in hand.

Guess he'll try and test it today.

Gerald's Plan

1. Set up a way to signal the helicopter to land on the helipad.
Mark the helipad, some way or another. Snow markings, ones made out of some smaller things, whichever works best in our current situation, really.
2. Help guide the helicopter to the helipad.
Well, this one's relatively simple - Seems like it's official procedure too. Wave my arms at the helicopter pilot's line of sight. Maybe find a pair of flags and use 'em if possible.
3. Find a way to quickly but safely unload all the helicopter's cargo.
. . Is there anything preventing us from carrying it ourselves? 'Cause if there is, well. . Sleds, carts, and other things should work, I suppose.
4. Find a secure place to store the cargo for future use.
Obvious as it is, split the cargo so half of 'em goes to the storage room (assuming that's accessible) and the other half goes to the armory (again, assuming that one's accessible). If not. . Uh. Put 'em in everyone's room??? I guess??

Clearly in comparison to the lightings, the markings Gerald made just aren't as effective, especially when the snowfall keeps covering them up frequently enough to be annoying.

He finds a pair of flags - those manage to be enough to get the chopper onto the helipad after the marking failure.

Yes, there's something preventing you from doing it yourself, Gerald. There's too much cargo for a single person to carry. Even after you find some sleds, you take way too much caution in carrying them just to avoid any anomalous disasters, resulting in a lot of wasted time.

Unfortunately, the storage room's locked! Oh and I did forget to mention that they're not supposed to go in everyone's rooms! They're not private cargo. At least you got the rest of the cargo back to the armory.

For not using something flashier (0), but with a good, active attempt to guide the chopper guy (+1), at least a decent method of transport (+1), but doing a dumb and thinking that everyone's room could be used as makeshift storage space (-1), Gerald's final score is...19 points!
