This park is definitely not ready for opening yet, given that a zombie just got away with murder. Even if this cure gets developed, chances are people will probably die before any zombies get cured. This place is not suitable for the public, not without some serious precautions taken.

This shouldn't be opened as a park, period. This is more of a special place. Just leave it to those who know what they're doing and the ones who appreciate nature. Don't leave it open to people who can potentially tarnish everything. But not to worry. I will make sure that the island will be saved.

Edd, who has been minding his own business for a while, comes over to Shoehorn, Frankie, and the others.

Mr. Carter here flew in to take a look at my operation. He helped me procure the lab equipment yesterday. I'll take him on a little tour, but it's been a bit since he had some food so I'm having a bit of a barbecue. Want something, Edd?

[Never mind, we do have Edd's challenge entry]

She continues to gaze at Shoehorn, nervously pawing the ground. "Does that mean we have to fight the government?"

No, this park is special, and its special-ness is why it needs to be opened. This is the greatest opportunity there is, the dead roam the earth once more, childhood dreams come true. But I agree with you that Frankie is being far too reckless with wanting it open now, and steps should be taken for her to be stopped.

When you put it that way.... yes. But it's mostly trying to keep it as the island as it is. Free from any potential troublemakers. Just stay vigilant for now. I'll think of something. It will all work out, trust me.
Meanwhile, Paul hangs around, waiting for the food like everyone else.
I can't wait for some food. Now every day you go on a business trip and be part of a Hawaiian vacation, except with extinct animals of course.

With all due respect, Dusk, I am not thrilled over having just anyone come into here. I can see your point of view, but look at things from my perspective. Back in my old island, the Victoria I knew came onto my island and destroyed the homes of several of the animals here because she built that damned hotel there. I've watched so many poor creatures all die because of it too. And that's not even going into the people who've came here on vacation. People getting drunk, throwing around their beer bottles, making them all break and cutting the creatures up on the shards. Birds getting sick eating plastic from various things that are discarded. People leaving lit cigarette butts causing fires. I'm actually surprised they didn't set the whole island ablaze! And even some of the beachgoers.... they all took a baby dolphin out of the water and passed it alongside each other to take pictures with it and themselves with their phones. The poor thing was suffering real badly and it even died.... People are so thoughtless with anything that's still readily alive. Do you really think they'll be considerate of anything that's gone extinct?

Right! I forgot about that! Hehe...
1. ... Cleaning the lab quickly and efficiently... ... Um... Uh... Yeah, I don't see an easy way to do this... Might as well do this the hard way... With hard work... elbow grease...and teamwork!
2. ... How about emulating a natural slanted yet rocky and snowy path for the mammoths? It gives them a natural path to follow! Of course... that might take too much time, so... How about luring them with food or something! ... Maybe something like grass might work?
3. ... How about field trips! The kids will love those! Although... It's an island, so getting permission from the parents might be difficult... Um... Presentation! Presentation is key! Um... Maybe make a guerilla campaign where we secretly give a few lucky people a chance to get to this exotic zoo before it properly opens... and then after that, we just wait for word of mouth and social media to do its work and do the advertising for us!
I don't understand any of this... I'm in a world of complete insanity...

Day 2 Challenge
Hello! So… time to get this place ship-shape and ready! I had you move some new equipment into my lab yesterday. I'm so excited! It's exactly what I need to begin the final phase of my - ahem - permanent zombie cure, creating it in larger quantities so I can do more trials to be absolutely sure it works. I'm sure it will. I'll be able to make it work.
Then I can open this place up to the general public! But I need a little cleaning and re-arranging of the lab first.
1. Make a plan how to clean the lab most efficiently and effectively. Time is critical, the quicker I can start the quicker I'll have the cure! But a dirty lab leads to dirty results, so don't skimp. If I swab the lab and try to grow what I swab in a petri dish - nothing should grow! Understood?
Okay, so today had been mildly worrying considering some bees just died, but their sacrifices will not be in vain, for Ena will put her all in this ! So here we go.
"Today, I believe I have the grandest of ideas ! First off, to clean this laboratory, one thing should be considered, and that is a robot vacuum ! This cheap, circular little buddy will inspect every inch of the floor for detritus and bacteria, and as for the walls, furniture and ceiling, a small team should be assembled to clean out the dust and spray everything with sanitizer. I, myself, would gladly volunteer. I am a very proficient maid with a fragile heart !"
2. Time for some more heavy lifting! The wooly mammoths, specifically. I need to get them from the flat plains to the colder reaches of the island's mountains which they're better suited for. What do you suggest?
"H-Hi, it's me... I bet no one missed me huh ?! Well, that's fine ! I-It's just natural !" She sobs for a few moments, before giving her advice. "*Sniff*...Huh ? Oh...right...Well...*sniff*...! I'm so sorry for being so stupid, but...! Apart from transporting them by helicopter, I don't know what else would work...! If I could specify, though, and and if there's enough fuel, maybe it'd be better to put them in the island's mountain one by one...? After all, I am certain that we posess enough time for such an endeavor !"
3. Wouldn't it be fantastic to let the public see how real work in the lab is done once I open the place up as a park? Give me your best suggestions to get the park goers excited while letting work go on unhindered.
"I believe I know this one...! The most efficient and trendy way of exciting park goers with good ol' science is by...cooking up a conspiracy !" She didn't like, change personalities or something. She just blurted this out with no context. "Er, no,no,no ! N-N-N-No ! I meant, "advertisement" ! By placing posters around the park, with juicy sneak peeks that could make anyone want to learn more about the inside of a lab ! "Genius Dr. Frankie creates cure for mysterious virus !" "Dr. Frankie, expert fossil reviver extraordinaire !" "Dr. Frankie invents way to stay thin forever without making wishes to very creepy gods !"-Wait, what was my point again ?" There's a moment of silence, as ENA tries to find back her way. "Ah, yes. Advertisement good ! Indeed, very poggers !" ...Did she just say that ?
((No idea if I did everything right with the quotes-))

Meanwhile, Frankie is at the grill.
What can I get you, Mr. Carter? Steak? Fresh caught tropical fish? Corn? Grilled tomato salad? Grilled pineapple? ...A Margarita or a Mojito or some Mexican beer, perhaps, to wash it down?
...If you want something grilled, too, just let me know!, she says to the employees, with a nod.

...Ooh. I hope this helps. Frankie digs out some Pepto-Bismol and a glass of water for Nepeta.
And coming right up! She serves Paul some grilled fish and corn, then gets out the bartending supplies and fresh mint for a mojito.

Frankie also looks at the work her employees have done. And despite their differences at the moment, discusses things with Shoehorn. Well done, everyone! Good teamwork and thinking.
We've decided on ENA's plan today as the best! We both agree on that, so she'll be the only one receiving a prize. Well thought on the robot cleaner, we need efficiency like that. And very creative on the, ah, advertising.
...I'm still not *entirely* sure moving the mammoths by air is completely practical, but...
And honorary mention to Fluttershy, excellent ideas. No prize for you today, but very well done.

I have to say. I love your scientific work, but also your cooking.... boy, you could also moonlight as a chef too, if you wanted. You must know some pretty good secrets on the grill, too. Gotta share 'em with me. Would make my next Fourth of July BBQ something special.
