Is there a way to directly attach a file from your computer to your post? Or would you have to upload it to another site first?
I'm curious about the Manage Attachments page in one's profile settings. What else needs saying?

In the New Reply screen, under the post form, there should be an "Attachments" form. You can't attach just any kind of file - we forget the default list offhand, but images and text are usually good.

Huh, I forget it's there. Probs cuz the phrase 'Out of sight, out of mind' applies here. It's usually not visible when you look at the "Post a New Reply" screen, and you pretty much have to scroll down to see it. What helps, though, is that the "Post Reply" button is found directly underneath it.
