You see, I have a weird history with the R-slur.
Some of my class treats it as a really offensive slur, and enever, not by any circumstances, use it. The other half treats it like a semi-more powerful version of "idiot", and use it frequently. It should be known that none of the people who use it are actually autistic.
why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food

I'm currently watching my school host a pep rally online for a test i'm not taking.
It feels like watching your friend stream going to a school reunion when you didn't even go to that school. They talk about the test with the bluntness of a hammer to the face. It makes me feel kinda...left out? Having to watch it during math class, even though i'm not going, makes me feel really embarassed.

Is this an accurate description of common traits of autistic people? For my Psych class.
Autism… • Is a neurodevelopmental disorder • Impairs communication and social skills • Restricts interests and behaviors Common signs: • Lack of eye contact • Focus on trivial details • Meltdowns ◦ Intense reaction to sensory overload ◦ Can be mistaken for tantrums or panic attacks • Adherence to routine ◦ Disruptions may cause meltdowns • Sensitivity to senses • “Stimming” ◦ Repetitive behaviors often associated with heightened emotion You know where you are? On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is normal speech and 10 is crazy A.I. word salad, how do I score on random pop-culture references?

A tawny owl appears to have claimed the road I live on as its hunting ground for around a week now, maybe more, and I absolutely WANT to get a good pic of it. Can't really do so right now because it's flown off (it perched on a fence post for a while, too, but I was too slow), but as soon as I can, I will try again.
I see a lot of starlings, though. Like, tonnes of them. |
