I think Blanche from The Golden Girls actually invented one way before I ever did lmao
because she said a mixed-up kind of a mood was "magenta", because "you're kind of sad but not quite blue, you're jealous but you wouldn't say you're green with envy, and you're a little scared but you wouldn't call yourself yellow, so it's magenta"
(note: this is not to be confused with apocalyptic magenta. Probably.)
