Side-note: That scene where the rabbit holds her child toward her after a tiger comes by would be a lot more visually interesting if it were a large "prey" animal (say, a giraffe) holding her child away from a small "predator" animal (say, an otter).
That's why I like the original plot with the shock collars better. You can really feel that the predators are the oppressed minority in it, as they're reprimanded for their ancestor's actions. Forced to wear shock collars if they get too aggressive or excited.
