 That scene is so much funnier when you think of it from the perspective of all those pedestrians; after all, they don't hear the soundtrack, so all they see is a weirdo trying to act cool and failing.

I imagine many famous movies scenes come off differently from the perspective of pedestrians.

Schafrillas said it was the best sequence in the Spider-Man movies because you were actually meant to cringe at him and it succeeded.
