to elaborate a bit on Awe's comment: the aforementioned show would be The Heavyset, an electronic music variety show hosted remotely by myself and my friend Cassini. we like to play tunes from across the spectrum of eee-dee-emm and dance music -- house, dubstep, IDM, drum 'n bass, 2-step, footwork, future bass, electro-trap... the chances are good it's got a place in our palette if it bleeps and/or bloops. generally my side of the show (hr 1) leans a bit more on the familiar side of the electronica spectrum while Cas likes to get down n' dirty with the real underground stuff (hr 2), but we mix it up a lot, and often the vibe changes entirely on both ends from week to week.

it airs at 12a Eastern time on Friday nights/Saturday mornings on WRFL Lexington, the college station at my alma mater (and a hella great place to find all kinds of music you may not know you'd love). the link up there is the place to be

in other news, three guesses to which kind of music ya bot likes best, and the first two don't count, but in addition to the electronica that makes up a lot of my modern aesthetic, I still have a soft spot for indie rock, hip-hop and pop music since those were the genres I grew up hearing (and still end up listening to a lot of through my folks passively listening to the radio on drives and such)

This is one of the songs that once I remember, can sing it for days on end. Still carries the same emotions in me every time.
I like this original version of the song better because the female vocals aligned in the chorus just make it more emotional, which were absent in his 2018 remaster of the song, but now comparing the two, the new one is also quite the glowup. First is the link to the original song (2014) and 2nd (showing the video) is the remastered version. TIL only one video is allowed in a post so
