[Fin] The Carousel of Chaos (role madness murdergame)
"I think we should at least hear what others have to say first..."
Hiiii!
Leonie looks at Ribbon.
Yeah! ...Unless we don't have time for it, but I think we do...
What else needs saying?
TRIPLE STAR
That's what you are.
Amazing!
Again, I don't exactly like Jack myself, and I know he's capable of it, I'm sure he could think it up, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to vote that he did the deed. At the moment, anyway. I suppose he's on my list. I've just been sitting hear listening to what everyone's been saying to see if I can make a more informed decision. Anyone with insights or that have been accused should feel free to speak up and explain themselves.

And if there's a hard deadline, I would be interested in knowing it, thank you. Please be professional and let us know what deadline we are working to.

God, what a headache. The Dragon Racism at display here. Khom just grits his teeth (they're still soaked from Avril's investigation, by the way) before sighing in dejection.

"... yeah, i think there's nothing we can talk about unless anyone else is willing to reveal what they have as a power. we just have to guess at this point..."

"i don't want to guess, though. i'm pretty sure nobody here likes Jack, but... i'm not willing to condemn, or doom anyone else to die, not even him, especially if they're going out anything like how I imagine Valania went out."

Khom is visibly discomforted as he imagines how painful going out like Valania did was.

"I can do anything with time! ... What do you think, Rouxls, should we give them a time limit? Would they be more motivated then?"

"There's several who've been really quiet today... Of course they could just be shocked by someone dying, but still."
Stupid doomed timeline...
"YES PLEASETH! We shoulde impose a Deadlineth so these worms will stopeth scratchingeth their buttocks and starteth Solving this puzzle!"
"They'd have some trouble finding a puzzle in this chaos, chaos!" Jevil snaps his fingers and an hourglass appears in the center of the ring.

It looks like the sand will be completely empty fairly soon.

"Once the sand is gone, gone, it's game over for whoever has the most votes! Or you can get a majority if you're in a hurry, hurry!"

(Day 1 will end at 8 PM ET on Saturday, May 6th [~48.5 hours from this post])

Let's discuss the possible options we have so far, hmm? First, I'm among one of the suspects, because I'm "mean" or "enthusiastic" or whatever. And yes, Candy is right about me. I am capable of doing it, no lies there from her or me. And I've been pretty much honest about my passion for being part of this murdergame. Of course at the same time just because I have the capability to do so doesn't mean I'm one of the three here to do the job. I could just as easily be among one of the innocents trying to save the rest of his team.

The next one of course is Bronwyn, who decided to jump right in and vote for me right after Avril did. And I'll have my thoughts about the dragon in a minute. But anyway. Bronwyn has been a bit more slower and methodical in investigating, and has at least admitted as such. But what they didn't really answer is why they chose to jump in and vote for me right after Avril did. Could it simply because I did something that might be a bit suspicious like my so-called behavior here? Or maybe it's because you're trying to lead a bandwagon on me. Like when one votes, and another quickly jumps in on it, hoping for other people to follow suit? That's what it came across as like to me, hence why I voted for you. But if you're willing to give me a good explanation why you did what you done, I'd be willing to retract my vote on you for now.

And now, there's Avril, who's made it quite clear how it feels about me. Which admittedly wouldn't necessarily be a red flag on its own why it would vote for me. But it's the persistence in trying to shut down discussion about the other possible suspects is what's beginning to give me second-thoughts about it. Now sure, it did claim how it's connected to Kirby & Ribbon and how if it dies, Kirby & Ribbon would die too. And the two of them did at least seem to back it up well-enough. But now I can't help but wonder about the two of them now. Now maybe they really are both innocent. But you do have to admit it's a bold claim to toss out there that they're all connected. Especially endangering the lives of all of you. Like you've handing off a nice freebie to the killers. Maybe you made this claim to try and absolve you all, which is your choice to make I suppose. But your persistence in shutting down communication and just pushing to have me executed because "you despise me" seems a bit petty. Like if I ringed up green, that wouldn't bother you if you knocked down one innocent? Maybe you are are that angry at me. But there's also that part of me that wonders if it's all a ploy just to keep you out of the radar. And you trying to save Kirby and Ribbon as well. I mean, if you end up getting voted off and you flip red, it certainly wouldn't look good for Kirby & Ribbon, now would it?

My point is, I know I've made a lot of enemies here. But I am at least willing to work with you all. I do believe in "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" philosophy. That even goes out to Candy. I'd be willing to help clear her name or just as well vote her off should we come to that. Not that I suspect her of anything yet so far. But I just had all these thoughts on my mind and I had to spill it out for you all.
I like bananas. They're yellow.
"I think the dragon's innocent, though we kinda have to say that, since if that dragon goes, we'll go."

"Jack is creepy, and i don't like him as much as the others do, but there's no real guarantee that he's the one behind the sheep-girl's killing."

"Well, can we hear what you have to say first, poyo?"
Hiiii!
Autumn, unsure what to do, tries to cast a random vote without thinking.
/vote Jack
You know where you are? You're in the jungle baby.
As long as we're apparently required to vote for somebody. And trust me, I do understand the concept, somebody or somebodies have to go down and the number of participants dwindle...

I'm willing to imagine Avril may have been trying to stir things up and shake the pot. And Bronwyn may have been angry at Jack. But going along with a bandwagon that's been said to have no real evidence behind it that's been explained...

I'll /vote Autumn

Although I'm willing to change my mind.

"She also voted for Avril for no reason other than I guess she thought it started fires and only went back on it when Avril talked about being linked to Kirby and Ribbon. I think. Lots of shouting happened and my memory's a bit off kilter right now."
Stupid doomed timeline...
That's true. She is playing a little bit fast-and-loose with the voting, isn't she?
I like bananas. They're yellow.
"hold on, what happens if we tie?"
it is me. awe921, the greatest face in all of koridai
Fourto glances towards Kirby. "Hmm? You "think" Avril is innocent because you "kinda have to say that"? I mean, I guess it's possible for Bonded to be on opposite teams, but... shouldn't you be more confident in defending the one that you'll go down with if it dies? Considering how, well, you'd die too? But if that is the case, we'll take a non-scum with us with that scum... what an awful trick... gah!

"As for Autumn... yeah, she seems to be just throwing votes around, though on the other hand... it doesn't seem like we'll find any evidence towards anyone at this point.
Glitchy Bootleg Lasers
"Yeah, we're sure Avril is innocent!"
Hiiii!
Leonie was lost in thought, stressing about the rather short time limit. She turns to Autumn after she placed her sudden vote.
Explain yourself. She sounds less stressed than she actually is.

She then replies to Khom:
That's a good question... Do both of them die? And hence... Kirby and Ribbon will also die.

Then to Fourto:
Regardless of their actual alignment, they'll say Avril's innocent.

Be wary of anyone calling for Avril's head.
What else needs saying?
TRIPLE STAR
That's what you are.
Amazing!
Autumn scratches her head.
I... I dunno, I'm just getting caught up in the moment. I-- I was kinda scared of Avril, when I voted for him-- I'm sorry about that, really, and Jack's just... it looks like most of the signs are pointing to him now...
Not knowing what to do, she sits down and shuts down for a bit.
You know where you are? You're in the jungle baby.
And what signs would those be? Besides me being mean or whatever?
I like bananas. They're yellow.
Autumn leans away, but tries not to back away. Puts her metal arm in front of her.

You dabble big in sadism and mind games... you're, like, trying to steamroll this whole thing. And you... you smell like... you have this weird smell, I can't put my finger on it, it's...

> sniff the air-- anything near Jack?

I just... you seem like you'd be the-- the prime suspect on a cop show. You know?
You know where you are? You're in the jungle baby.
Jack rolls his eyes to the back of his head as far as he can.

Well, yes, I'm sadistic, yes, I put up this front of entertaining everyone, so what? At the least, I've been trying to be cooperative and trying to help people out the best I can. And really? The "prime suspect of a cop show?" That's the best you can come up with? If I wanted to go by your logic, I can just vote for Candy right now because she's just as sadistic as me. Now I'd be willing to vote her off when push comes to shove, but she hasn't really given me any reason to do so. But no, the signs point to be because of my clear enjoyment of these games. Right. I think I've just about had enough of you.

/vote Autumn

we don't get many fox people back home. Virtually none, in fact. It is scales or... scales or finehair for most. I assume people like you with lots of hair are the kind in your place, do you have many... have many like us there? Or are you inverted from us and have few finehairs and few scales, but many of this... this third option? What is it like?

Avril pointedly ignores Jack. It's content in the seemingly guaranteed death of the one it hated the most.
I am the They who says it!
I, I'm Autumn, thank you. It'sllotsof hair. Tonsof it. I couldn't have killed her, I'dhave hadmmyfur allover her cape! And and my metal arm would have been too strong, torn it apart!!
While talking to Avril, Autumn unconsciously kneels down, covers herself up.
I... I knew people looking like you one time, but not in my world.
You know where you are? You're in the jungle baby.
You... you do not need to keep denying it so vehemently. It is, in its own way, suspicious.

Avril seems a bit concerned with Autumn's reaction.

Please, learn to be calm about your... your crimes. Even if you haven't committed them, people... people don't like the constant denials. They don't like my denials of starting... denials of starting fires. I don't. But they think... they all say I talk about it... too much. And I have...  have "suspicious burns" and... and smell like things that burn. And... and... I don't start fires. But they think I do. And they're wrong because... wrong because I don't. You... you see? I wouldn't have... wouldn't have got these burns if I knew where... where the fire was. Coming from. Which I would if I had started them. Which I didn't. Because I didn't start any of them.
I am the They who says it!
