Scott, who's been hiding in the apartment building this whole time, tries to escape... [1] via the cunning plan of climbing out of a window with a broken leg, while one of the hostile police is watching.
[7], [7]. The shot misses, barely. [8], and Scott manages to hang on to the window without falling. Problem. You're 20 feet off the ground with a broken leg hanging off the outside of a building and there's some random police officer below shooting at you. Escape is in sight! YES! FREEDOM IS ASSURED! This can't possibly get worse, right?
