Massive action dump, and a lot of action starting, and ending.
In the police station, EJL sees Anaheim whip out a spray can, and try to use it to spray something. That doesn't work out, it just makes a sad hiss. Then, Anaheim tries again, and the spray can... just EXPLODES, coating everything in a thin layer of acid. Nothing fatal, but there are skin burns and ruined clothes all around. Anaheim then scrambles into the vents as the police kick down the door to the room Romero is being interrogated in, and three officers armed with pistols storm in.
Romero just points at the vent, not having been stopped from seeing anything. ([9] [7] [1]) ([5] [5] [3]) 6 in officers #1, #2, and #3's favor. A hail of bullets tear into the ventilation duct as Anaheim tries to flee... and blood drips into the room out of the hole-riddled vent.
ANAHEIM HAS BEEN KILLED.

Five [10]: gets a bulletproof vest and a pistol. And another bulletproof vest and another pistol. And several riot-gear helmets. And several boxes of ammunition. She puts all of them on. Moving may be impossible, but she is now INDESTRUCTABLE!
Scott checks out the construction site. [?] Well, it doesn't look like anything's really changed beyond the structure being much flatter than it was yesterday, and there being no workers at all. There's still equipment abandoned there.
Meanwhile, EJL and Romero both have chemical burns forming, and the officers on scene have already left the building. It looks like those are up to anyone on the scene to treat.
