Not sure I've seen the original TV version. I'm partial to the radio version, which I have listened to, and the novel series of course :)

Oh, this reminds me, I still haven't finished reading the Hitchhiker's Guide book.

I own both paperback copies of the entire Adams book series (the Del Rey reprints from around when the movie came out) and a gorgeous omnibus edition of the "trilogy" that I got from my college B&N

I've read through the first book and Restaurant, and I believe when I last left off I was midway through Life, The Universe and Everything but it's been about a year and a half so I might just need to start the whole thing over... at any rate, Adams is a top-notch humorist and I admire his work so much

Maaaaan, that's a beautiful hardcover.  :D

I have the paperback version of the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide omnibus that I got from my parents for my birthday a few years ago and also a Pocket Books paperback of the first Hitchhiker's book that came with my double-tape set of the TV version. I'm hoping to get the radio show version one day buuut 1. It's expensive AF and 2. I heard that they made some edits to the primary and secondary phases a decade ago.

I have the book, and I watched the 2005 movie. Haven't exactly read the book just yet aside from the first few chapters.
You know where you are? You're in the jungle baby.
