Took from one of my TV Tropes' forum games. In this game, someone makes a CYOA-styled post with 2 or more choices, and the next person chooses the choice they like, continues the story with it, puts 2 or more choices on their post, and so on.

Example:

User 1: While venturing through the woods, you come across a temple. What do you do?

A - Enter the temple.

B - Ignore the temple and move on.

User 2: A - Enter the temple. You enter the temple and see some statues holding gems. There is a sign on one of the statues that say, "Steal this gem and perish from this world." What do you do?

A - Take the gem.

B - Leave the temple.

C - Get a gem from the other statue.

User 3: C - Get a gem from the other statue. You ignore the statue with the sign and go to the other statue to grab the gem. However, the temple suddenly begins to collapse once the gem is in your hands. What do you do?

A - Leave quickly with the gem in hand.

B - Put the gem back in its place.

Rules:

- The protagonist cannot die.

- New stories may be started after a number of posts have been created. However, the story must have an ending, whether it would be a happy ending (the good ending), a downer ending (the bad ending), or a bittersweet ending (a mix of the good and the bad endings).

I'll start: You have been ordered by the King of Troperia to find the magical Emerald of Truth, which is said to give the person who keeps it magical powers. It is located in a small castle in the forests of Amplapia. When you arrive at the forest, you see a dark cave with an ominous red glow. What do you do?

A - Investigate the cave.

B - Ignore the cave and move on.

The Godmodder's next move generally happens about two days after the first player's countermove (depending mostly on when we can get some time to write it).

For the Godmodder, a move consists of whatever the Godmodder feels like doing. After a short while... The reign of the Godmodder seemed to be over... A little skirmish occurred over the Trouble Cube's domain, but as the fight progressed... it lagged more and more... Until it just... STOPPED. However... The Godmodder grew more unstable... AND MORE DANGEROUS. Now, the Godmodder, with multiple personalities all fighting for control, threatens the Trouble Cube once more!

The Rules!

You may only post once per turn (One of the GM's posts)

In your post, you may do a normal attack, as well as charge up to three attacks (including other people's charged attacks) once each. (format the charges like so: (current number of charges)/(total number of required charges)).

Don't expect your attacks to work. Even if they do, you're lucky if they deal 1 damage. Even so, due to what's known as the "Curse of Repetition", an attack can only affect the Godmodder once.

You're not alone in this... You may summon entities to help you! However... If they're summoned hastily (I.E. in a short amount of turns), they may be turned against you!

Terminology: GM: Godmodder, AM: Anti-Godmodder (All Players), PM: Pro-Godmodder (any entities summoned by or turned to the Godmodder's side)

Every turn, control of the Godmodder will be swapped to a new player, who will write the results of the next turn that passes, who in turn, will pass control of the Godmodder to another player... and so on. The passing of the Godmodder will go through a queue from top to bottom.

If you want control of the Godmodder, please state so in the OOC forum and you will be added to a queue. The same goes if you want to give up your turn and be removed from the list.
This is a game where you come up with an apocalyptic scenario based around a prompt, then give the next player a prompt. all the prompts are to be started with "It's the year 20XX" or atleast mentions a bad future, such as "In a dystopian future" or "In the far away future", maybe even a "In a world".

Here's an example.

"In a far away dystopian future, Trouble Cube has become all consuming. All other shapes were eliminated, leaving only cubes that clash into each other in an neverending fight.

Mario's execution on March 31st"

"In an alternative universe's March 31st, Mario is erased from the world. However, the hidden gods did not take this lightly and started obliterating every other video game franchise by turning it into E.T. for the Atari. The videogame industry has fallen and tabletop games are our only hope.

FNF Modding."

Got it? Then I'll start.

The year is 20XX. In this dystopian future, troubadours have gained all the political power possible, using their newfound power to create alternate universes with dark futures.

Welcome, to the One Sentence Writing game!

I know what you're thinking: "Hey, how does this work? Also, why are you using a fictional audience to introduce your game format?"

For the latter, it's because I think it's fun. And for the former, here's how it works! You write a sentence, going off the previous sentence that had been posted, in order to create a story! The rules are simple: You only write one sentence, and you can only base it off the previous post. Don't look further, that's cheating!

Anyways, I'll start!
