Codename: Mafia - Round 2 - TenOfSwords13 - 07-29-2022
Still an experimental game, with custom roles. Bluff your own ability and find out who might be lying about what, exactly, they do. This is a crazy idea I had and have no idea how fast it will descend into chaos, but hopefully slower than the previous game.
Rules:
- Normal rules apply (no editing posts, no posting at night, be good people, etc.)
- When signing up, please put in your codename (e.g. Agent Ghost, Agent Blue, Mr. Explosions). This name will be the basis for your role.
- After I roll for alignments, I'll determine what everyone's role is based on the combination of name and alignment - e.g. a good Agent Ghost might have the ability to avoid death a few times, but an evil one might be able to kill without needing to fear protective roles. I'll try to make it balanced, but I can't guarantee anything.
- Day phases last either a week or until an execution/novote, whichever comes first. The threshold for execution would be half the number of players plus one.
- Each night, the evil team collectively votes who they wish to die (if there is a tie by the end of the night, the first voter wins). The first person to vote to kill that person will be the killer for that night. This rule is in place because not every potential evil team might have a killer.
- This is going to be chaotic. Not a rule, but just making sure everyone's aware.

I'll note that there is no list of roles, and people can claim things they don't have, so this isn't as wow great as it would be normally. :p
If we're talking things we know, though. *Fine*. I'm 9/10ths sure based on my ability that Florien is on the level.

I'm basically a Bodyguard, but Nerfed-- if a Good player dies, I can die in their place and they can't be targeted.

I have the King Role, meaning if half of the town is dead, I'll learn who among the survivors is good. Probably not the greatest to have, but if one of the killers are pushing to make someone seem sus, there is a chance I'll learn they're good after all

But yes, it is true that we don't actually have a list to cross-check.
Good roles out here today, and none of you have put up a flag-stained-crimson yet.
I mean aside from obviously kennifer but that's just because the 4/5 times we've mafia'd, so she has been. So that's not really a flag at all.

Ah, well. My actual ability is inspecting alignments. ...Except one person that is good will register as evil. Which, the wording of it, actually, does in fact clear Florien completely, now that I think about it.

It's actually 3/4 before this game (unless I am forgetting a game; iirc there was the first one, the one with both mafia and werewolf that was cancelled, and the first Codenames where I was scum, and I was a town cop (but got mislimmed) in the one Nebula ran. Still happened a lot though.
Anyway, Point inspecting alignments goes along with what I figured last night.
