WELCOME TO THE TROUBLECUBE ANNUAL PURGE!!!
That's right, your characters gets to experience the fun and excitement of the Purge! We got room for plenty, so step right up!
WOAH WOAH WOAH, HOLD UP!
This may be about the relaxation of rules, but not every rule's gone lax! Here's the ones to be wary of:
Da Rules
- No OP characters allowed! That will just ruin the fun for everyone.
- No Godmodding allowed! AND I MEAN IT!
- We comply by the rules of the canonical Purge series, which are as follows:
- -> Sirens blare throughout the land which will indicate the start/end of the Purge.
- -> All police, fire, and medical services will be suspended/unavailable during the Purge.
- -> All government officials of rank 10 or higher are granted immunity from the Purge.
- -> Weapons of "Class 1-4" can be used during the Purge. Weapons of Class 5 or higher (such as explosives) are prohibited from use.
- -> Violations of these rules shall be punished with death by public hanging.

That's because it's so ppl could say whether the Government forced them in (Because of The Purge: Election Day, whose ruleset we're NOT using), or if they came by choice. It would've been known by a good amount by now.

Hey! This sounds really interesting, but I'm still a little unclear on how this is going to work. It seems to be an RP about a group of murderers who band together during the Purge, which I like, but some parts are unclear. What're Class 1-4 weapons? You can just make them up if it's not explained in the movies.

Sorry for not getting back with you lot sooner, but since this was one of those 'spur-of-the-moment' ideas I usually have, I'm gonna need some time to refine the details surrounding this. I'm more than willing to let one a' you be Co-Host, though, but as for whom that might be, I'm gonna let y'all decide on that, k?
Just for now, be patient, since most 'spur-of-the-moment' ideas I have I tend to keep stored, but rarely do I put it in action upon gaining said idea(s).

UPDATE: We've got more info for you lot, so here ya go!
WEAPONS
Everyone starts with at least 5 points, with which they can buy weapons to use. The weapon's point value is the Weapon Class they're filed under, e.g. Class 3 weapons are worth 3 points. Everyone has the chance to earn more points throughout the RP. Here's a guide on what weapons falls under which class:
- Class 1: Improvised weapons. Items that aren't intended to be weapons but you use anyways as part of killing. Think chairs, wrenches, etc.
- Class 2: Non licensed weapons. Weapons built to be weapons, that virtually have no restrictions otherwise, except maybe an 18+ restriction. Something you'd be able to get with ease even without the restrictions od the purge. Think bows, crossbows, historical weapons, etc.
- Class 3: Licensed weapons. You would need a permit to gain these weapons. Think handguns, rifles, firework guns.
- Class 4: Dangerous weapons. In any situation other than the Purge, this would be borderline illegal. Think assault rifle.
REASONS FOR WHY THEY'RE THERE
We've decided upon making it more specific - They've either volunteered for it, or got abducted into it. The reason for the abduction? Because they were deemed good enough but refused anyways! Feel free to specify which side of that coin they went on - If it's the "Agreed to it" reason, why did they agree to it? Don't hafta say why they agreed to it, but it would help make it more realistic.
TIMEFRAME OF THE RP
We're extending it from 1 day to 5, to give it more room for actual content of wider variations. Which means more time for chit-chat, or for MURDER expiring people's life certificates!
Quick update: Signups are set to officially open today, and they close on Friday 11th June.

You may want to keep signups open for a little longer, since people seem to be hesitating to sign up. I'm not sure why most are avoiding signing up right now, especially since there was a lot of interest earlier. In my case, at least, I'm far too divided on whether to do a serious character or a more comedic one. I don't really want to "set the tone" out of fear of, well, ruining it, I suppose. I might be able to get a couple of signups done for both ends of the serious-silly spectrum some time soon, and simply decide on one later.

- Combat Psychopathy: She's quick to resort to violence, or even murder when possible.
- An Axe to Grind: If she's not wielding any ranged weapons, she usually resorts to an axe.
- Ranged Weaponry: She can wield ranged weapons.
- Combat Deception: She is extremely good at deception, which can induce some crazy paranoia regardless of who's side she's on.

No, I don't think the RP should be canned just because only 3 people signed up - you should try discussing it with others on how to improve on this RP, and figure out how to get more people interested in it.

I'd be happy to go on even with only three people. I'm sure we can make something work with a smaller cast.
I feel like you're expecting too much attention for a non-Murderverse RP. The Murderverse has its own playerbase that was extant when TC started, and most people who came here from TVT came for that. Most RPs here won't get the numbers the Murderverse does.
