Dumb things you used to believe/do as a kid - Caret - 03-01-2021
Post dumb and strange things you ether believed in as a kid and/or actually did as a kid.
To start, I thought pouring Gorilla Glue (a brand of superglue) on your head would cause you to instantly grow in gorilla hair all over your body.

I carefully removed the sesame seeds from a burger bun and sprinkled them by the road because I thought it would let me live on Sesame Street.
I also was worried I was gonna be arrested because I left some change in my pocket when I put my jeans in the wash and I'd seen something on the news about people getting arrested for money laundering.

I would always put books, VHS tapes, DVDs, etc. down on their front cover because I believed the characters on the cover were watching me and judging me. I still do it, partially out of habit and partially out of my weird paranoia regarding faces.

I believed the Tails Doll would come out and night and suck my soul into that gem on his head.
I stopped after a few years, but I left the light on when I slept for six years.

The dishwasher fills up completely with water and then uses hot tub jets to spray it around.
(I was worried how much water it used and it was explained to me that it was like a washing machine, it filled up with water and then just reused it. and i took the "filled up" very literally)
