Well, you did find Valania below the tightrope, and her body's covered in bruises and blood stains, almost as if she took a great fall.

There's a trail of skin flakes starting from one of the tightrope's platforms that stops right above where Valania's corpse lies.

You can't really tell from looking at Valania's body alone.

The parafleece appears to be intact for the most part aside from being covered in skin flakes, so no.

Right, hopeful and optimistic. Like I can do that too. Won't make it not a killing game, will it? In fact, maybe if I can become real hopeful, Valania will spring back to life right now. Let's try it, shall we?
Jack just stared at Valania's corpse with a smug smile for a few moments. He turned his attention back to Fourto. Nope, didn't work. I "tried" to be optimistic, but Valania is still dead. Oh well, worth a shot.
He certainly wasn't expecting the threads to grow in size like they did. Did Valania have something like that on her body before death? Anyone among the living? His thoughts stopped as he sees the new man come in.
Ahh, just the guy I'm looking for. Maybe it's time for you to confirm what I've been saying all along. Is this a killing game? I wanna be "optimistic and hopeful", but things have a funny way of working out.
