RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - TenOfSwords13 - 08-10-2021 The Soul certainly must say something. I am not content with being the only being who trusts them. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Kennifer - 08-10-2021 "Understandable, since that throws suspicion on you as well." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Magolor - 08-10-2021 "...I think our only option is to vote someone out. The Cultists would obviously only kill people that are confirmed innocent and have useful investigative abilities, like last night. We know the Cultists are among those four... Red and the Soul vouch for each other. That means if one is innocent, so is the other. That also means nobody but the Soul could be working with Red here, if they're the Cultists. Blue could be a Rolecop, or just an extremely lucky Dualgunner, if Red became an Investigator. Nellie, however, could be either role equally likely, if she is the last Cultist. So I think we should try and deduce what the last non-Wannabe Cultist's role is." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - wingedcatgirl - 08-10-2021 (08-10-2021, 20:23:45 PM)Goose Wrote: > are the bone chippings from a couple of days ago still there, and if they are, then are there any new bone chippings? The closet definitely still contains bone chips. Hard to say whether any are new. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - PointMaid - 08-10-2021 Well, we haven't had any double murders that a dualgunner might have done. They could be saving it, but that seems unlikely, doesn't it? Or they could technically have done a murder when the main attack was repelled. They could be a vanillaizer, but nobody has reported not being able to use their roles permanently. (...Although they could have targeted someone it had no effect on.) The most likely seems to be the rolecop. They did find out and attack some of the more important helpers. Although... we've been sharing our roles anyway, so that's not exactly a huge thing. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Caret - 08-10-2021 Nellie suddenly glares at Lotus. "I'm a boy, not a girl! Is Nellie a girl name? Did I seriously not thought of that while coming up with that alias? ... Disregard what I just said." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Caret - 08-10-2021 "Ahem... Anyways, I also think that our cultist is a Rolecop, since a Dualgunner would have probably fired their shot by now, considering that everyone roleclaimed so early, and a Vanillaizer would have also used their power by now to take down Kondraki or Lotus or somebody." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Kennifer - 08-10-2021 Amy ponders a moment, remembering something. "Mitsuha was the Vanillizer, wasn't she? I could've sworn one of the voices said that after her execution." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Caret - 08-10-2021 She was? Oh, then let me update my documents... The Grand List Of Night ActionsAmnesiac (Red, also a Rickroller) - claims to have remembered being the Investigator on Night 3 Bulletproof (Z, confirmed through physical evidence and Knuckles) - got targeted by the cultists on Night 3 through Kondraki's swapping Bus Driver (Kondraki, confirmed through multiple people's accounts lining up with each other, also a Rickroller):
CPR Doctor (Soul) - allegedly saved Red on Night 4 Commuter (Nellie) - commuted on Night 4, one commute remains Coroner (Blue):
Fruit Vendors (Chip & Ada, confirmed through "Mod Error"? idk):
Investigator (Freddy, possibly confirmed by Blue/Red):
Jailer (Lloyd, possibly confirmed by Blue)
Stalker (Lotus, confirmed by Kondraki and Knuckles):
Watcher (Knuckles, confirmed):
Unjester (Amy, very likely confirmed):
Kills and kill attempts
Innocents, Cultists, and the UnconfirmedConfirmed to be innocent
Not confirmed to be innocent
Cultists
RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - PointMaid - 08-10-2021 ...Does narrowing down the likely cult roles tell us anything helpful? RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Caret - 08-11-2021 "Actually, I have two questions. Oh, wicked Avatar of Death! First of all, can there be more then one person with the same role besides the Rickrollers? And second of all, do the cultists know who the bear automation and Lloyd's roles are, or were they also in the dark regarding their roles? RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - wingedcatgirl - 08-11-2021 "Before the Amnesiac got involved, no two people could have the same gift - except, of course, two Masons, if there were Masons." "As for the Janitor, they don't get to learn the roles of the dead. Thinking of upgrading that for my next game..." "You're planning to do this again?!" "It was so much fun this time!" RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Kennifer - 08-11-2021 "That's… a messed up idea of fun. Otherwise good to know, though." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Caret - 08-11-2021 "So that would mean that the cultists were as in the dark as we were. That would also mean that Blue might indeed be the Coroner, since the Coroner's power would also be useful to the cultists, especially to a Rolecop who doesn't want to waste their shots so early in Death's twisited game. That would also narrow our list of suspects down to the Soul + Red... and me." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - TenOfSwords13 - 08-11-2021 That is certainly one way to phrase it, yes. So... the meaning of those facts is that, for myself at least, you must be the last cultist, Nellie. I am not yet ready to initiate a vote against yourself, as I am a highly suspicious individual, however I won't object to your demise. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - PointMaid - 08-11-2021 Um... I was assuming those things you asked about were true, and wasn't especially suspicious of Blue. But how does it rule her out categorically? Am I missing something? RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - TenOfSwords13 - 08-11-2021 A coroner must exist, given the janitor, so who is it? It is certainly not Freddy, nor Lloyd, so it must be Blue. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - PointMaid - 08-11-2021 ...Right, yes. I see the reasoning. There must be a coroner, and the Cultists wouldn't want to kill them because it helps them too to narrow down what roles are possible, and it doesn't have the power to directly uncover the cultists themselves. Not completely definitive, but yes, extremely unlikely Blue is anything but the Coroner. Lloyd was certainly the Jailer, given his demonstrated effect on Chip and my ability to send fruit. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - PointMaid - 08-11-2021 ...So, yeah. The Soul (and by extension, Red), or Nellie. Here's this for a prompt. What helpful things have either of them done that a Cultist would have no reason to do, even to maintain plausibility as innocent? RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - TenOfSwords13 - 08-11-2021 Nothing comes to mind for I. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Zanreo - 08-11-2021 "Can't really think of anything either..." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Kennifer - 08-11-2021 Amy just shakes her head. She can't remember the Soul doing much other than hiding in the closet, and the only one who could vouch for them was.. someone also potentially suspicious. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - PointMaid - 08-11-2021 ...If we're not able to narrow down anything more definitively soon, I think I'm going to have to advocate voting for the Soul. I still think they're the most suspicious, they have physical evidence against them with the bone chips, and they won't come explain themself. If they're innocent... we can believe Red, and Nellie is almost certainly the last Cultist. And if they're not but there's one more cultist -- well, it's pretty clear who that would have to be, isn't it? RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Zanreo - 08-11-2021 "Gonna have to agree with that, yeah... I'm sorry, but..." /vote Soul RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Kennifer - 08-11-2021 "I'm really sorry in advance if you're really the CPR Doctor..." Amy looks like she really doesn't want to do this, but... well, as seen with Mitsuha the day prior, meekness and innocence can be deceiving... /vote Soul |
