RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - wingedcatgirl - 01-02-2023 Investigating murders isn't something I usually do, but... "Plagg, you think you can assist?" he whispers. Plagg groans quietly at the prospect, but >carefully swooces away unseen to phase intangibly into Haruhi's body and see what he can see on the inside. Adrien's lucky I can see in the dark. Also he's gonna owe me so much cheese for this. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-02-2023 >carefully swooces away unseen to phase intangibly into Haruhi's body and see what he can see on the inside. Based on the glimpses of her body, it looks like she drowned RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-02-2023 That pump drained this studio faster than Loretta drained my happiness. >Try to figure out how the water got into the studio in the first place. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - TheOtherCG - 01-02-2023 Coming back empty-handed, Walt sees Adrien summon Plagg to go inside Haruhi's corpse. "Now I think about it, she probably drowned. The killer must've tied her to the stake and flooded the studio just to kill her." RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-02-2023 Tina will >Carefully climb down from the rafters. "Do you think somebody tied her there before or after the studio flooded?" She wasn't sure this mattered to finding out who did it, or why. The whole thing was making her incredibly uncomfortable but she was determined to try to help. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-02-2023 >Try to figure out how the water got into the studio in the first place. You go investigating. You end up just subjecting yourselves to water torture via leaky pipes. (Lotta enjoys this, by the way) RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-02-2023 >Carefully climb down from the rafters. You slip. You bump yourself a bit. There's going to be a bruise. But you're ok. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-02-2023 GLGUBUGUBUBBGLUBBGUBBGBBBULGLGBB Loretta slowly turns to Jenny, who happens to be the nearest. "Leroy used to complain when his hair got wet, but now he doesn't complain about his hair getting wet anymore." Leroy meanwhile, tries to >Stop the water torture RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-02-2023 >Stop the water torture (Leroy) It takes a bit and you still get needlessly drenched, but you do manage to stop it eventually RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Oggy123 - 01-02-2023 "Crud, it's flooding!" > Are there any possible clues around? RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-02-2023 > Are there any possible clues around? You note two sets of stilts outside the door of the studio. ...You note this when they fall on you. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-02-2023 "Ow. I'm okay." Tina gets up, pushes her glasses back up and checks herself over-- nothing broken, that's good. She will then... >look at the ropes, can she tell if it was tied before or after the flood started? RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - wingedcatgirl - 01-02-2023 "So it looks like she drowned, the stilts make it look like the killer stood above the water?" >Double-check that, do the stilts show any sign of having been used in water recently? "And of course she was tied there so she couldn't just swim away. ... So uh. How do we connect that to who did it?" RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-02-2023 >look at the ropes, can she tell if it was tied before or after the flood started? It looks like it was tied beforehand, yeah RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-02-2023 Those stilts could have been used to bar the door shut, but they could have just put Leroy there. To emphasize the point, Leroy appears to have fallen asleep in an armchair that definitely wasn't there a moment ago. >Untie the body from the pillar to see if there's any marks on the back that might be unexpected for someone who drowned. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Oggy123 - 01-02-2023 "Stilts, huh? Well, we're getting somewhere." > Also help Adrien double-check the stilts. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-02-2023 >Double-check that, do the stilts show any sign of having been used in water recently? You can't seem to figure that out one way or another. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-02-2023 >Untie the body from the pillar to see if there's any marks on the back that might be unexpected for someone who drowned. (Lockhorn) As you untie her, the pillar falls over and whacks you on the head. You're seeing birds flying around your head as you stagger around dizzy. But before that happens, it doesn't look like she has any marks RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-02-2023 > Also help Adrien double-check the stilts. (Coda) They do seem a bit damp RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - TheOtherCG - 01-02-2023 "So, what did everyone do last night?" Walt asked. "I was asleep like a rock." RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-02-2023 "I tried to sleep for a while but I couldn't really get comfortable and then the whole place was flooding so I climbed up to the rafters in here. I was kind of panicked so I didn't see anything, sorry." RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-02-2023 It's possible Leroy was asleep, but it is also possible that that was a bandsaw. I assume that Loretta was asleep, after all, no one could possibly stay awake listening to her talk about her interests, not even herself. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Oggy123 - 01-02-2023 "Yeah, i'm asleep too." RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-02-2023 Lotta is totaling up all the damages and what she'll need to replace. Looking very nonchalant about the death. ...Oh, you do seem to be figuring this part out fine yourselves, but if you identify the killer, we'll remove them from the competition. Permanently. Can't have a sloppy killer winning, now, can we? Shows a lack of attention to detail. And you don't have to worry about myself and Mincer, it would rather defeat the purpose of the exercise if we were the ones bumping off contestants un-prompted. But I was in my office all night going over paperwork, anyway. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-02-2023 Yeah! Like the lady said! We wanna see if you all have what it takes to be a star! And I was helping out with the paperwork myself! But anway, good start so far to the competition. Can the killer hide under the radar? Mincer pulls out a mini-radar out of his pocket. Come on, this is a game of limbo! How low can you go? |
