Dr. Frankie set out a breakfast buffet. It included a few items from the luau that weren't used. She takes an orange juice, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. (Or is that a mimosa? And the eggs don't quite look like chicken eggs, which, given what kind of place this is...)
Got to keep you healthy for a day of work on the Island! Explore if you want to, but I'll explain today's work item at around 12:00 Eastern. You'll have plenty of time to do it.
Don't worry, Thrivey. It was just a welcome luau.

Dr. Frankie nods quite seriously at Thrivey. Oh, yes. If you think one of your colleagues has been turned into a zombie, call a meeting and present the evidence. If more than half of you agree, I'll deal with the situation. Just keep in mind that a nick or bite from one of the animals doesn't necessarily mean zombification.
Oh, and be careful when you're taking care of the animals.

Coffee? Oh, yes. There's plenty of coffee! My research unit would revolt without it. And, there might be Dark Waffles? I'm not sure how those are different from regular waffles, but you can see what's laid out.
Dr. Frankie serves herself a nice large mug of the coffee.

Challenge 1
Welcome to your first challenge! Here are the Dodos! I thought I'd share something cute and cuddly for your first try. Did you enjoy the dodo eggs for breakfast? You'll have to create a Dodo House that will keep out predators, of which we have quite a few, and any potential poachers. Please post how you will:
1. Obtain tools
2. Obtain materials
3. Construct the house
4. Install your defences
Please post all your proposed actions at once for today. I'll be back to grade your efforts. (OOC: I'll be back to roll your actions; the highest scoring will get immunity from getting bitten by the Dodos during the challenge, and anyone not posting by 10pm Eastern will get bitten. I actually need to do some errands right now, but will be back in a few hours if you need me.)
