RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - Kennifer - 08-05-2021 "…" Amy was just… trying to process what she just saw… so much for letting the poor kid die easily. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - Magolor - 08-05-2021 "Wha—" She doesn't voice her outcry for long, before seeming to gag. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - door-kun - 08-05-2021 He'd.pulled his hat over his eyes. He wouldn't watch. Couldn't. " . . .so . .what now?" RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - KungFuCutbug - 08-05-2021 [...The Soul can't even look at the execution scene. They weren't watching when she died, and they sure as hell weren't going to look if everyone else is on the verge of vomiting. They and the others had caught a cultist, and that's all that matters.] "...w-well. we'll find the last one... or last ones, if we need to... tomorrow. i hope. i just... h-hope the creepy cultist doesn't kill me..." [And with that, they wordlessly retreat back into the closet, locking themself in for the night.] RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - artsyGeek - 08-05-2021 ". .anyone needs a refresher? Water, perhaps?" RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - KungFuCutbug - 08-05-2021 [...The Soul briefly peeks out of the closet again.] "i-i'll take some chocolate milk if you have that." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - Magolor - 08-05-2021 "...I think I'll just have some water, yeah. We should spend some time planning... and consider what Red's going to claim." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - door-kun - 08-05-2021 "Water works for me too, ya dig?" RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - wingedcatgirl - 08-05-2021 Night will fall upon the mountains at... 7:30 PM CT on August 5th, I guess? Doesn't seem like there's much reason to keep the thread open much longer now that we've had an elimination, but we'll let it be open longer if we get objections.
RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - TenOfSwords13 - 08-05-2021 Midnight Red has kept his eyes averted the whole time, uncomfortable with all the violent deaths. Bloody hell... well, rest in piece. Anyways, last night I investiagted Amy and the Soul for a doctor, and learned nothing due to visual and auditory hallucinations. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - PointMaid - 08-05-2021 (08-05-2021, 04:11:59 AM)Zanreo Wrote: "Children, plural? Though we only had one left... unless..." ...I doubt that this Death Avatar would be that blatant. But, yes, it's possible, if Red remembered their role as the Wannabe instead of what they claimed... RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - Kennifer - 08-05-2021 "Hmm? Oh. Yeah, water's fine, thanks." Amy still seemed to be processing what she'd just witnessed, because holy SHIT. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - TenOfSwords13 - 08-05-2021 (08-05-2021, 12:41:57 PM)PointMaid Wrote:(08-05-2021, 04:11:59 AM)Zanreo Wrote: "Children, plural? Though we only had one left... unless..." Exactly that. I could be lying, yes, but I feel as if the Death Avatar wishes me dead to ease the pain on their cult. I might have remembered a cultist in another world, but having the reasonable doubt on me means that the cult cannot kill me without increasing their odds of being caught, as they would confirm that everything I say is true. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - Kennifer - 08-05-2021 "...too bad they won't just go after me, it'd prove to all of you I wasn't one of them, let me do what I'm supposed to do, and an innocent with a useful role wouldn't have to die. Which is... why I didn't want to roleclaim, because what would be the fun in it for the cultists to go after someone who wants to be targeted and wouldn't help them if they did?" Amy still looks a bit dazed. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - Magolor - 08-05-2021 "...This doesn't look good for us. Red could be fabricating a story based off our earlier conclusions, but he could certainly be telling the truth... I think our first step is to make sure our Bus Driver doesn't get in the way of investigations, but still being useful here. I think we should also have two people visiting the Commuter tonight in case one of us dies. We can't afford the potential Investigator nor the Bus Driver to go to waste right now, so... Perhaps Chip and Ada? The fruit baskets frankly aren't as valuable as finding out people, but they can help us figure out Nellie's role. A more expensive option here could also clear up Red and Knuckles at the same time, but it's kind of risky. Red Investigates Nellie for both remaining Cultist options, Knuckles Watches Nellie, I Stalk Knuckles. Just in case Knuckles is still lying... Nellie gets to choose whether to Commute." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - PointMaid - 08-05-2021 ...I'm not sure I follow how our fruit baskets can help figure out Nellie's role, actually. I suppose if the basket fails to get delivered that means they commuted... but we don't know ourselves that someone we deliver to definitely got or didn't get our baskets. Nellie could just say they did or didn't get their basket. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - door-kun - 08-05-2021 (08-05-2021, 18:00:06 PM)Magolor Wrote: "...This doesn't look good for us. "I ain't lyin - I got two of the cult caught, but sure, works for me, Lotus. I'm sick of the doubtin, but can't exactly do anythin about it." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 5) - Cassie - 08-06-2021 NIGHT
RE: Murder in the Mountains (Night 5) - wingedcatgirl - 08-06-2021 Day will break upon the Mountains at ~7:30 PM CT on August 7th.
RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - wingedcatgirl - 08-08-2021 Once more, day breaks upon the mountains. Your brief reprieve seems to have ended - the cultists have struck once more. Day has broken. Knuckles the Echidna, Watcher, has died.
Night will fall at ~7:30 PM CT on August 12th. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - PointMaid - 08-08-2021 Oh, no... Knuckles! I guess the cultists thought he was a threat... which I suppose he was. He might have seen something last night. Speaking of - did anyone else get any information last night? I'm just going to see what we can see... > Check Knuckles for wounds, cause of death RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Caret - 08-08-2021 Nellie intermediately runs out of his room to check out the death scene. "The echidna died? Oh no... no no no no no... not the echidna! He was very helpful to us!" > check Knuckles' corpse for evidence RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - Kennifer - 08-08-2021 Amy comes out of her room looking distinctly cross. "Ugh... okay well, I visited Nellie last night and that was just as worthless as all the other times I've visited anybody, so... yeah, no help here." >Any evidence lying around near Knuckles, now that there isn't a janitor to clean it up? The killer smashed his floorboards and loosely buried him under his bedroom. Once you've done that, the most obvious piece of evidence is the knife in his back. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 6) - KungFuCutbug - 08-08-2021 [Here comes the Soul, looking terrified.] "w-we lost our watcher? ohhh no... we're doomed... nonononononono..." > investigate that dumbbell |
