RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 08-02-2021

...Then it's really no better than not having a plan in the first place and letting people do whatever they think they should do, is it?

Do you believe Malakhiri? Then don't execute him. But I think there's a much better chance than a 50/50 dice roll that he isn't innocent, and if he is, we KNOW who's responsible and gave us bad information.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - artsyGeek - 08-02-2021

". .shit, you're right."

"Eh, I suppose I don't give much of a rat's ass on what people do anyways. You wanna go with that lady's plan? Sure. Go with your plan, if you happen to have one yourself? Go right ahead. So long as it's supporting our side, folks. So long as it supports that."

". .guess the killers don't want to side with us but they don't count, so."

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 08-02-2021

You know what I think helps the cultists? Sitting on our asses. Take that as you will.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - psychedelicate - 08-02-2021

"But, um... wouldn't eliminating the wrong person... help them more...? That's why we... have to be careful..."

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Cassie - 08-02-2021

Yeah...sit, sit on your asses! You can't outnumber them, even if you objectively do!

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - wingedcatgirl - 08-02-2021

"Is there really no evidence anywhere in the entire cabin other than Z's slashed clothes...? These killers are frustratingly clever."

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 08-02-2021

...You want us to search again? Fine. We'll search again.

> Search the entire cabin for anything out of place.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Cassie - 08-02-2021

> The ENTIRE cabin!

Something's missing in the kitchen.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 08-02-2021

Well, okay...

> What is it?

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Cassie - 08-02-2021

> What is it?

There's 1 less knife in the kitchen compared to yesterday.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 08-02-2021

Amy just looks... frustrated as hell, if one were to try and figure out what the hell that expression on her face is supposed to be. She was concerned that if she unvoted from Malakhiri yet again, either she was gullible as hell for falling for their tricks if they were in fact guilty, or she'd look wishy-washy and thus suspicious. As for her part of the proposed plan sure, that'd work out great if there actually was a Gunner, if she could figure out who it was, and if the Gunner stood guard that night. Of course, nobody'd claimed that role.

She decided to go to the kitchen too. To investigate? To get something to drink? Both. It was both.

>Before she gets a drink... is there anything (like a fingerprint or handprint, hair or fur, etc) near where the knives are?

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 08-02-2021

...I see. Well, Z's clothing was torn and the cultists were presumably going to kill them. Unless it was to make us think they went after Z and they did it to themself. Either way, a missing knife makes sense. I'm not sure how much that helps, though. Unless we can find it.

> Can we find the missing knife?

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - artsyGeek - 08-02-2021

> Investigate everyone's rooms, part. . At least two

Nothing obvious. It definitely looks like whoever took the knife had human hands, though. (You might be wondering, how does it look like that? ... *walks away*)

Chip and Ada search, but the missing knife doesn't appear to be in the kitchen, in Z's room, in Malakhiri's room, or in any other room they think to check.

There really doesn't seem to be anything at all inside the bedrooms... The blizzard continues to howl outside the cabin.

AAAAAAAAAAAGH! You can't find it anywhere within this cabin!

> @all rooms pt. 2

Again, nothing's amiss.

Ninja'd! (TVTropes) oh great

E: go with sylvi's since i got ninja'd

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Zanreo - 08-02-2021

"So the knife is just... gone. Whoever used it... must have gotten rid of it somehow... or are still keeping it...:"

>check window in my room

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 08-02-2021

...Did anyone else have a strange... dream about an open window? They could've tossed the knife outside...

> See if you can open the window in Z's room and, if so, if there's a knife outside the window

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - wingedcatgirl - 08-02-2021

>the window in Z's room (Chip+Ada, Z)
The window lock is still engaged, but it unlocks and opens without trouble. The blizzard is blasting too hard to have the window open longer than a few seconds, but you don't see anything outside Z's window except snow. Lots and lots of snow.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Zanreo - 08-02-2021

"If anything was thrown outside, it would have been covered in snow by now... how convenient.

It doesn't seem likely that the knife was yote out Z's window. There's no snow or water inside her room.
... er, well, there is now, but there wasn't before you all opened the window.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Zanreo - 08-02-2021

>check all the windows in the cabin

There's no snow or water in anyone's room... The lock on Malakhiri's window is disengaged?? Is that meaningful or are you just seeing anything that's at all different as confirmation of what you already believe

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 08-02-2021

"Well, it looks like whoever took the knife was human, or at least had human-sized hands. That doesn't narrow it down much but it helps a little..."

>okay drink time is there some bottled water or something? maybe being HYDRATED will help with the thinking.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Zanreo - 08-02-2021

"Wait..."

>examine Malakhiri's window closer
