Suddenly a giant black hole appears under Xue and swallows her up. She finds herself being attacked by shadow creatures that fly in-and-out of her before the hole spits her back out.
Then as Quinarva heads to the river, a powerful jet of water fires at her, making her fly against the tree, hitting it hard.
Uh-uh-uh. There will be plenty of time to die later.

I think waiting to see who shows signs of malevolent possession is better than just guessing random people, no offense. Especially if people who aren't possessed by the evil spirits have a chance to get out of here."
