Firstly, I know, but I feel like the post count is symbolic of how much you've interacted with others on a forum site. 1,000 may not seem like much, but it's still a good number of posts that shows you're willing to interact with others.
Secondly, while I myself can't answer your question regarding Vritra (due to the fact I'd need to die in battle, followed by an ocean burial to get into Valhalla), I can say that I spoke to the ViDuck-Borg, and they said that they didn't really pay attention to who was/wasn't in Valhalla. *shrug*

At least you're doing better than I am, Ken. I've had to endure more public Among Us lobbies just to grind for more cosmetics. I like the new ones the Bean Shop has, but, I feel like I need to endure more than I should just to get some of them (the Bean Shop pets alone costs thousands, and I am not making that up!).

The Northern European Mythology had two good afterlives, but people only remember that Valhalla exists. It's also not clear that death in battle was required for either of them, just that the Valkyries would give anyone who died fighting Justly and Well(tm) a place in one of them with no questions asked, like proper funeral rites. (Presumably to make dealing with the war dead less of an issue, because you could just say "eh whatever it'd be a pain to give them all rites, anyone who dies fighting a good fight doesn't need them.")
Also presumably human sacrifices went to one or both of the good afterlives, because most religions who do human sacrifices say that human sacrifices send people to good afterlives.
