today is a weird day since usually I have Tuesday off but Carol was still on a trip (getting back today) so she will be working for me tomorrow instead (I hope).

and everyone who comes in is just looking so far and I want someone to buy something and the rest of the day to go by quickly so I can go home to dus

That's the exact opposite of how it is in our household — Mom's always exasperated by our leaving dishes in the stink... er, sink, rather than putting them directly in the dishwasher whenever possible.

At least, I presume you meant "sink". Unless it's just a really stinky sink...

We don't have a dishwasher, so unfortunately hand washing is required at our house.

That would either suggest I have sneaking skills that would put ninjas to shame, or the community is so incompetent that I'm able to use said computer multiple times a day without anyone noticing.
