Ranma already had a walkie-talkie on him, so he simply kept it on him in case something happens to the first. Or if he needs to throw it at something. Whatever comes first. Since Ranma's pretty heavy, and doesn't want to cause the rope to accidentally snap or get loose, he's going to head to the kitchen to quickly change form. "So who wants to hold the rope or. . ."

Now I really want to go explore what's underneath here, but I don't want to risk injuring myself even more. I could try fashioning myself a parachute so I don't have to deal with the rope, but maybe I'll just wait if we discover a way out. Hm...

She says this in the most deadpan tone you could imagine.
