RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 07-31-2021

"...Why did you want to visit the Bulletproof anyway? Don't you just find out if they visit somebody, not their role or if someone comes after them? I mean, obviously you don't get to know their role or you would've known I wasn't a cultist when you followed me."

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Magolor - 07-31-2021

"Geez, the person who could be a Cultist laying my entire strategy bare... The Bulletproof can't visit. Surely I don't have to comment further?"

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - TenOfSwords13 - 07-31-2021

That strategy is... fine, I suppose. I personally couldn't have thought of something better for you to do.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 07-31-2021

"Just trying to get everyone's stories straight to look for holes, same as you."

Amy rolls her eyes.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 07-31-2021

Yeah, even if there aren't any glaring holes... we need to know what people's actual stories are to have a hope of figuring out what is and isn't possible.

...I still want to know what was going on with the brown hair that first night. I don't like people trying to frame Chip.

> Check around the cabin for... naturally shed brown hairs, presumably from Chip or Kondraki. Are they plentiful enough that a Cultist could have found one just anywhere around the cabin and decided to plant it near the body?

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 07-31-2021

> Go check Z's room yourself since there is much confusion about what's happening in there.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Cassie - 07-31-2021

>check for shed hair

Uh...there doesn't seem to any.

>Z's room

Nothing's off.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - artsyGeek - 07-31-2021

“. .hm. . After some thought, might as well just share it.”

[Kondraki then shared his list — And by that, I mean he yeeted it onto the table. It reads as follows:]

Quote:- Red with Malakhiri
- Ada & Chip with Amy
- Bonus Boss Z with Lotus

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Caret - 07-31-2021

> check Malahriki and Mitshua's rooms for anything off

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Cassie - 07-31-2021

> Malak's and Mitsuha's rooms

Nothing's off.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 07-31-2021

> Can you find more of the brown hair that was near Freddy's body?

...Might be a long shot, but...

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 07-31-2021

Amy returns from finding nothing amiss at all in Z's room, and looks over Kondraki's notes.

"Okay, so. The first night I tried to visit Malakhiri and heard music, but if this lines up I visited Red instead. And Knuckles allegedly visited Malakhiri later and didn't hear music so this tracks, provided Lotus is telling the truth about having seen Knuckles visit Malakhiri... I don't know if I actually got swapped with the couple on the second night since I was visiting them anyway so I might not have noticed, but if I remember right, Lloyd was going to jail Kondraki and would've had a chance to do that before he died. So... no help there. And last night is hard to verify with a big bunch of nothing having happened. Is that it, then? At least for that part of the case."

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Caret - 07-31-2021

"But... if the cultists did target Z and she was then swapped with Lotus, then that means that Lotus should be dead by now, but she isn't. Unless the CPR Doctor was somehow involved, then that means that the cultists must have taken a break last night. But... why exactly did they do so? Are they trying to catch us off-guard o force all of us to reveal our roles just... like... we... did? Oh no."

Nellie is... starting to freak out internally over the fact that he just revealed his role to the cultists.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 07-31-2021

Amy decides to...

> check Lotus's room

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Cassie - 07-31-2021

> more brown hair by Freddy?

Bitch, it's been a few days since the bear died, all the hair that was there had been swept away.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Cassie - 07-31-2021

> Lotus' room

Nothing's amiss.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - TenOfSwords13 - 07-31-2021

I have no clue what happened last night, and I don't think we can find out until we get more information. We've found all the physical evidence we can, and even that points us in circles, so we're going to have to risk our necks in the dark again. I don't see how we can make sense of anything else today.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - wingedcatgirl - 07-31-2021

"Apropos of nothing, I randomly feel like I should clarify that after a Bus Driver's interference, Watchers and Stalkers only see the actual visits, whether they were the intended ones or not."

"Don't give them hints!"

"I can't help them that much, I don't even know who your 'children' are..."

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Caret - 07-31-2021

"OK... why exactly did the cultists skip out of killing last now? Were they just lazy? Or do they know something about Z, and then they decided to skip out of killing to give everyone the false impression that Z was saved by her ability?"

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - PointMaid - 07-31-2021

...Dangit.

And, Nellie, I think the story that tracks is that the cultists may have gone after Lotus, got Z, but couldn't kill them because they're Bulletproof. If things are how they're said to be.

...Does that tell us anything, for instance why they'd go after Lotus? Of course, being able to Stalk people at night is pretty powerful and could be used against them.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 07-31-2021

"...Okay, nothing's off in either Z's room or Lotus's room. Would there have been something to find if a kill attempt was made even if it was thwarted?"

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - TenOfSwords13 - 07-31-2021

Even if there was evidence, it does seem likely that the cult is cleaning up after themselves, leaving no traces of any activity behind.

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Caret - 07-31-2021

> are there any recent-looking wounds or scars on Z and Lotus?

Nothing on Lotus.

Z's clothing is torn to shreds, though. (How'd nobody notice that until now? How'd she not notice that until now? That question will not get an IC answer.)

RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 4) - Kennifer - 07-31-2021

"If we could get rid of their Janitor, then we'd be able to catch the rest of them more easily, but... finding out who the janitor is is not gonna be easy. Shit."

Amy sighs.
