Guess the voice wants to keep us all in suspense on whether or not to confirm what I've been saying. No matter, I can respect that. It makes for great showmanship., Jack says before responding to Valania. Very well, I suppose we need something to do to kill the time in the meanwhile. Show us your own magic trick.

"Well then! Prepare to be amazed!"
Valania holds up her hands above her head. They flash cyan. Suddenly, columns of powerful wind shoot up from the ground near the sheep woman.
"You see, I'm a wind mage! I can summon winds and manipulate the air around me. And this isn't even the cool part. But first!"
Valania's scarf suddenly changes shape, becoming a large cape that's billowing with the wind.
"You see, my scarf is actually a special glider called a parafleece! It can change shape to serve a variety of purposes, but it mainly allows you to fly with the help of wind magic."

It stumbles over its words, before continuing with its gloom.
but they captured us anyway, somehow. They're capable of beating us... what makes you think that we have hope to escape this? Any survivors of whatever happens will inevitably be ritually... sacrificed or something...

A circle of runes appears beneath Valania's feet, and she is launched into the air.
"OPEN! DIVE MODE."
The back ends of her parafleece attach to Valania's shoes, and she grips the fronts end. She now looks kinda like Cape Mario, but pretend that Valania is in Mario's place and the cape is white instead of yellow.

"You see, there's two ways, or grips, to fly a parafleece! This is Dive Grip. It's a bit touchy to control, but it's faster and more aerodynamic.
She does a few blistering fast laps around the walls of the circus tent. It almost feels like a whirlwind from how fast the amazing flyingsSheepgirl is going.

She holds out her arms and summons out a blizzard that hits a nearby wall, then moves backwards only to break a few items in the merch stand with a light touch, while others seem to have had their movement suspended somehow. "Whoops, didn't mean to do that? Or "did I...?"

Too bad Valania just so happened to fly in front of the blizzard.
"Oh crap-"
Valania narrowly dodges Fourto's blizzard. She figures it's an indication that she should stop floating zipping around for now.
"Switch grip! Engage lock!" The back ends of her detach from her shoes and slide into her hands. Valania is now gently floating in place above everybody in an upright position, holding her parafleece like a more traditional parachute. This is a good approximation (it's a waist-up drawing I swear), courtesy of our good friend Khom from a non-canon side RP on Discord. At least it no longer feels like this circus tent is about to be torn apart by a hurricane. Valania looks down at Fourto and giggles sheepishly.
"Phew! I barely dodged that blast of... what I presume to be ice magic? But still, I escaped becoming a Popsicle! Sorry for getting in the way! Anyways, I'm in Float Grip right now. It's slower and less conductive for stunts, but it's easier to steer and ascend or descend with Float Grip. You can float in the exact same spot for hours with this. It's perfect for casual flights!"

Khom's gotta bring the notebook out. He whips a well-used notebook full of bits and pieces of paper sticking out of it, a blank card, a pencil, and a cute pink paperclip, and begins noting down the cool showoff stuff.

"I'm not sure how it works either. But uh, yeah. Lithium's not just a name, so... as long as it's got a lithium battery I can recharge it."
She grins a bit.
"I don't even own any chargers for my own stuff."

I don't know about you, Candy, but I see so much potential in all these people for some truly gruesome deaths. Avril can incinerate someone by breathing fire, Khom could probably kill someone with that square, Valania could use the wind abilities to blow away someone's flesh off, Fourto could freeze someone to death, Kizuna can fry someone with her spear powers, and Lithium can short out someone's heart rhythms with her battery abilities. The possibilities are endless! Of course, seeing as how things go here, it could be too obvious if you used these abilities to kill someone. But you can always frame someone if you play your cards right. Now that would be a good strategy. I'm getting more excited to see everyone in action. Come on, mysterious voice, why don't you finally confirm to everyone what Candy and I have been saying all along? I'm ready to get things rolling!

Avril shoots a glare at Jack for daring to imply that it can or would use fire, but does not immediately say anything about it. (Internally, it's very obviously thinking about biting him in half or ripping him with its claws though.) It crawls out from under the bleachers and approaches him, to try a different intimidation tactic.
Do you have anyone... you approve of? Commentator Jack...? Or are you... just... ahh... mmm... a bucket? Of cruelty...water...? Have you... ever? ahh... Ever considered... what might happen... if you were to... realize who holds... holds... who holds the...

Valania is still floating above everybody else. She hears what Jack says and nearly does a spit take.
"OK, woah. My wind is pretty powerful, but I'm not going to blow somebody's flesh off. The only time I would do that is if a lot of people are in danger. I can beat people up! But a good sport never, ever kills people. This is why I hate-"
She hastily cuts off the rest of the sentence.
"I mean... color commentators can be pretty exciting! Even if they exaggerate things at times, they sure do add a punch to things!"

Khom looks at Avril hiding under the bleachers, and glares at Jack. He'd been quite afraid to speak up to him, but seeing Avril just having another outburst at that has given him the resolve he needs.
Khom walks up to Jack, and gently places his hand on the arrogant TV host's shoulder.
