Just as a potential protection against an elimination, maybe Lav and someone else could try and split the vote, then we go from there to see who to switch from there? Maybe?

People can vote 'skip' (skip the vote) or not vote if they don't want to eliminate anyone. As far as I'm aware, there's only an elimination if more than half of players vote for someone. (Please correct me if I'm wrong). At least that's how we do it in Murdergames.

I'm pretty sure that's right, yeah.
I don't think it's a good idea to divide the vote too much, and maybe this "test" or whatever with Lav should wait until Point confirms their alignment? Not entirely sure, but I'm definitely open to listening to plan ideas.

We'd lose a person and a day by doing that, though, and if we can get everyone on board, we would have the potential to do both. ...And the only other thing people have mentioned doing is the test of Knife's ability.
We'd have to figure out who should vote for Lavender and who should vote for Knife, though, if we go that route. If we can get everyone on board with it, like I said.

This sounds like a good idea actually. We vote off knife to break the thing, and everyone else votes Lavender.
So I'm thinking Whistle, Nebula, myself, Point, CG, and Lavender on Knife, and Kennifer, Matthew, MP, Knife, and Smily on Lavender.
That seem good?

Curious how who votes for who was chosen; was there a Florien-big-brain strategy or was it random? (Well other than Lavender and Knife voting each other which is obvious.)

Sounds good to me. Just, IMPORTANT REMINDER to NOT finish hammering Knife until the people supposed to be voting Lavender have done so.

Well, the reasoning is as follows. If Lavender detects one scum, we get some information, but not a large amount. BUT! If Lavender detects two scum on them, that means Point is clear, because she cleared me, and she probably wouldn't do that if she was scum unless I was. If Lavender detects three scum, we eliminate Smily, MP, Matthew, and Knife, because Kennifer is only suspicious if Point is Scum, and Point could not be scum in the three-detected scenario.
Oh and if they detect zero scum, it's probably Whistle, Nebula, CG.
Of course, this all relies on Lavender surviving the night. So I'm probably going to protect them this night, but don't take my word for it, I might do something else as part of a cunning trick to eliminate a scum first night phase.

Why is CG on Knife and Matthew on Lavender when they have similar abilities?
I guess the Lavender-Knife thing is a plan while there's not much better.

Just FYI, I volunteer to be the last one to hammer Knife when the votes for Lavender are in. I think I've proven I'm around enough and pay attention enough that I can keep track of it and you won't have to hunt me down so we don't miss the vote right before time is up. I think everyone else can vote already in that instance. (Correct me if I'm wrong. And yes, I say that a lot.)

Because statistically, there'd be a 60% chance you'd be evil.
Florien: Kennifer could be clearing Point for towncred, so I don't think she's clear.
And if you're saying that it's me in the case that Lavender finds no scum, then either someone would have to be Investigation-Immune (which I'm doubting) or Lavender themself is scum.

That is also a scenario, Lavender could be scum in the "No-scum detected scenario. So they're also on the list in the No-scum scenario.
And yes, Kennifer could claim to be clearing Point for Towncred, but earlier you said that Kennifer is more suspicious in the scenario where Point is scum, so that just reads to me as "Kennifer is worthy of suspicion whatever she does". Which, fair, considering the whole "more often than not, scum" thing.
Anyway I don't see any reason not to do this plan.
