She obviously reeled back after uncovering the corpse—who wouldn't?—but she didn't make much of a sound.
Her first thought drifted to the murder cult thing. No, it's unlikely the cult would be among the hikers... except that old guy. "Hey, old geezer." (That is to say, Malakhiri.)

The flying camera smacks right into Malakhiri, who apparently didn't even notice it, because of the whole "hood" thing. They fall to the ground, unconscious, and a few colorful "ritual" candles fall out of their robe, the price-tags ($25 for a candle?!) still on them. They also land on the drama button, setting it off, as the camera breaks.
