Our cat Cleopatra fell from the top of the stairs overlooking the foyer. It's basically a one-story fall.
She's somehow all right, because cats are creatures of the Devil and do not follow the laws of nature.

Good morning, everyone.
If being surrounded by boxes needing to be unpacked wasn't bad enough, we have to deal with ants. There's so many ants.
We first noticed them when I had to bring my dog Buttercup's food bowl inside. She hadn't eaten her breakfast, so we put her food outside so she would be able to eat it while we moved boxes into the house. So that night, I brought her food and water bowls inside, and then noticed that the water bowl had ants in it.
And then that the arm holding the food bowl was absolutely covered with ants.
Naturally, I went back inside, dumped the water from the water bowl over my ant-covered arm to wash away the ants, and threw the food in the food bowl across the fence into the neighbor's yard. From that day on, we've had to cope with warding off the vast, invisible horde of ants sneaking into the house to steal our food.
Anyhow, the moral of the story: fuck ants.
