With the aid of the astral adventurer Randolph Carter, our protagonists set out to defeat Lovecraft the only way they know how... by kicking abomination ass! And the power of love, I guess.

Working titles: The Lincolns vs. Lovecraft (Yes, derivative, I know. It's a working title!), Black People vs. Lovecraft, H.P. Lovecraft Does Not Like Black People. I'm thinking of it as a meditation on mental illness, depression, bigotry and cynicism, and how these issues can be countered through love, forgiveness and idealism. And also as an examination of H.P. Lovecraft's mental issues, the toxicity of fan culture and nerd entitlement, and how excessive cynicism can be an excuse to avoid problems rather than deal with them healthily.
