Lotta snaps her fingers, and Ash is suddenly caught in a nightmare land. You can tell that because it's dark and shadowy. They clutch Pikachu close. They're surrounded by hundreds of angry Ghost type pokemon… evolved, strong Ghost-types. Maybe a few they could handle, but this many, steadily advancing… Ash is clearly terrified. They clutch Pikachu even closer.

But Pikachu is terrified as well, pika pika!, and sends off one of the strongest electrical sparks they've ever done. Ash is charred, and falls to… a charcoal pile. Pikachu just faints.

And Lotta snaps her fingers again. It was a dream. But Ash is as white as if it were real, and falls over… dead.
