Now Ma'am, I don't think you want to go that way. Or any way, for that matter.
The guy from the pawnshop, from the civil war reenactment group, from the margins of everyone's investigations, is standing alone at the far end of the roadway, in the most ridiculous outfit you've ever seen. A garish, wide-brimmed, floppy, feathered, bright-green hat and coat, a bright red tie, and a ruffled shirt underneath. He has a high-caliber pistol at his side. It's noon. How appropriate.
Meanwhile, Runner Five reloads [7] and fires. [8] Another officer is killed. The last one turns and runs towards the apartments to deal with less dangerous foes.

Lynne runs extremely fast. [10] She shoots a lot of bullets back as she runs. [10] While reloading to fire some more, she fumbles the gun and it clatters to the ground while she keeps running. [10] (Holy shit three 10s in a row.) She has a stitch in her side, and feels like she's going to vomit as she reaches Terezi.
Meanwhile, the pawnshop guy draws his own gun, and fires a single shot. [9], [5]. +4 to the pawnshop guy versus Lynne. The punch from the bullet knocks Lynne flat on her face from nearly a block away. What the fuck is that guy's accuracy? She's been shot in the back and is quite badly injured.
Now, Ma'am, don't you go runnin'. I can't have you folk going around, causing problems for Mx. Clipton. You're making it worse for yourself.
Seven fucking tackles the officer attacking him. [9], [4] and strangles him. The officer is dead.
Meanwhile, the surviving two officers engage B-Sha's mech. [7] [2] VS [5] [2]. The Mech is hit in all the wrong places by the bullets, and jams, no longer able to turn or move at all.
Runner Five reloads... [7] and finds that there's no one to shoot. The man in green is behind too much relative to her to get good aim at with the damaged targeting computer, and the surviving officers are at the apartments.

Seven rushes to the tank... [1] and falls down the stairs on the way instead of arriving.
Meanwhile, Runner five successfully drives the tank over to a place where she can aim at the officers in the apartment complex. The Man in Green has ducked behind cover somewhere and can't be spotted from the tank.

Terezi checks out her wound. [6]: Yeah, it needs professional medical attention. You put some makeshift bandages over it, but assuming you walk out of this alive, you're really going to need to actually see someone for medical assistance.

[5]: You check dials. Scanners. You look out the broken windshield. You eventually get out of the tank to look around, the incredibly loud beeping still going. That's when you see you're parked over a manhole. That's when you see the explosive stuck on the fuel line. You run back only a few seconds before the explosion tears through the tank, setting it ablaze. The shells stored within go off too. The tank is left little more than a burned-out husk. It's good you got out.

STATUS REPORT SO FAR:
Dr. Fischer and Sariel are dead. Lynne is severely wounded. French Terezi is badly wounded. Seven has been grazed by a bullet and has injuries from falling down the stairs. B-Sha is immobile, her mech broken, but she's not yet dead. Scott and Kaikoku haven't arrived yet.
The opposing side has lost Romero and Seko, and 9 officers. The Man in Green and Lindsey are still out there, along with more officers.
Another police cruiser arrives in the area. Apparently a call for reinforcements got out.
Meanwhile, The Man in Green is nowhere to be seen, and Lindsey is hiding too, though one of them was probably behind the explosion that destroyed the tank.
The various people with injuries from the whole sewer thing, which include Runner Five, Seven, and Scott, are still injured from that. Broken bones take a while to heal, it's actually quite impressive they've done this well.
Meanwhile, Terezi looks for a new target, now that Seko is motionless on the ground. [5]: She runs over to the apartment complex, where she knows there's potential targets in the lone two officers left who're attacking B-Sha. She does not yet attack, because she can't get around the disabled mech blocking the entrance.
The officers turn on an easier target than an armored mech which isn't doing anything to attack them at this time, and fire on the injured Seven... [5] [6] Vs. [5] [4]. +2 in favor of the officers. Seven is hit again, this time in the hand. He's still alive, but that could change soon.

Runner Five jumps in to save Seven and Terezi from the shooting. [10] She leaps high over the broken mech, and lands quite impressively right in the officers line of fire.
[3], [9] Vs [6], [9]. Luckily, that doesn't end badly, as the officers are so startled by the next person jumping in that they miss their shots.
Meanwhile, over the communication channel...
Coward? Maybe. But I'm alive, most unlike your friend, Dr. Fischer.

She may or may not be bluffing, but she's going to make it a good one, regardless.
