Ash belatedly notices Kai's statement. "Sure, a ghost Pokémon could've scared Mr. Hill to death easily enough. They've got lots of scary moves that could do that. I'm the only one that has Pokémon, though, so that doesn't help us."

Ash takes three Poké Balls off his belt and tosses them forth, and out pop a Dragonite, a Lucario, and a Sirfetch'd. Pikachu is still following Ash around as usual, and by this point everyone probably knows about Dracovish, who's still in the pool.
"These are the Pokémon I'm traveling with right now... They don't really have any Ghost-type moves."

Personally, Wendy didn't see how any of them could be that scary... especially the Pikachu, that one is downright adorable. Still, she remembered when everybody got obsessed with that... what was it, Chinpokomon? which was pretty similar and ended up being pretty dangerous.
