When Susan calls 911, her phone naturally explodes when she throws it, but it is when she tries to run away that she didn't count on the wall of fire that surrounds the forest and everyone inside it. She smacks face-first into it and gets first-degree burns as she stumbles back.
Pathetic girl. What part of "you will not leave this area alive do you not comprehend?"

Eh, whatever. It's brigandine and a plate coat. Not going to lock up, easy to maintain. Worst case can just sandbag it clean. Though that's some corrosive water.

As Abigail gathered a good amount of wood and being able to carry it with ease despite her petite body, she drops them when the ghosts show up.
"They're just like us, suffering for eternity, isn't that funny?"
The voices of the damned souls that reside within Abigail began laughing. Abigail dropped the logs and fell to her knees. She shrieked, feeling their cold hands pushing towards the organs in her body. To anyone else, it seems like she's having a breakdown and they assumed it has something to do with the ghosts. They'll be half-right, but Abigail has her own ghosts tormenting her.

You look around and see what appears to be burned remains in the south part of the map. You check it out and it appears to be the burnt remains of a shelter. All that remains is some broken glass, a few pieces of wood and mostly ash. And what you think may be some skeletal remains. But before you can get too close to it to see what it is, you find yourself pushed back with great force.
I will not have a foul mortal such as yourself defile the resting place of my physical form.

Quinarva finally got up, her tail singed by that phone fire stunt. "Just a little shock...that's all..." She tried to assure herself more than anyone else, but the frigid pit in her gut was telling her otherwise.
She built anger inside as she stood by Abigail. "What have we done to you, Σκρόφα? Our guide said you were unreal, not us! And you have killed him, what more revenge might you enact?"

Mmm. Cute. Got a badass over here. "Witch" ghost showing off her defenses, claiming we're mortal, claiming she's got time on her side. Weirdly protective of her corpse like she's going to need it revealing her hidden weakness in the least subtle way possible.
Look, time is NEUTRAL to you. Ap-a-thet-ic. Time is not on your side. It's on My and Luki's side. Rest of them, time could be against them or neutral to them, but it's only ON our side. You're out of your depth, Irikhin. Just some advice. We get around your thing probably, we break your reign probably, it's all going great.
Fentiriss wildly swings a sword around for no clear reason, before going back across the bridge to the rest of the group.

As you cross, you slip off the log and instead of falling into the river, you land onto some rocks and you think you might have broken a bone.
You are right, little girl. There is indeed a witch here. You are much more perspective than the others here, but you would be wise not to convince yourself it will save you here. You are all among the next group of mortals who have decided to barge down into my forest. A place I decreed no one shall come down here as long as my spirit still reigns the area. I am Agatha Bancroft. I was a witch that came to Eleanor Village over 300 years ago, chased out of town when the people finally discovered the truth about me. I have hidden myself out in this forest, planning my next wave of curses when the townspeople eventually discovered me at my shack. They grabbed their torches and set it on fire while I was still inside. But before my physical body passed on, I decreed no more living souls would step foot into Blackmoon Forest ever again and survive. My physical body might have died, but I have learned new abilities. To keep my spirit alive and to rule the forest, where no one will ever leave. Ever since then, various people have come by here. All different times. All of them met the same fate. A painful and slow death. just like you are all about to meet.

The voice descends into maniacal laughter as you all find what appears to be several beings that appear to be ghosts rise out of the ground. They fly upwards and ring of ghosts that each circle around for a good several seconds before they drift off. They all fly into each and every one of you here.
You know what you have to do, the voice said, only this time inside the heads of everyone here, and the message echoes inside of you, getting dimmer, before it's replaced with the sound of screaming. The horrific screams of various people who sound like they are in a great deal of pain, quickly begging for death, dying horribly. The screams get louder and louder, assaulting your eardrums. You're not sure if you're all about to go insane or deaf, perhaps even both. But just as you all think you're on the verge of going either, the screams stop. Not sure you know what to do, you just look around and find yourselves in the northern side of Blackmoon Forest. Separated by a river with more to explore on the other side. You can find a way to cross the river, if you choose to find a way.
”…This trip sucks. This is a prank, right? Well I'm not falling for it.”

Just like most people I have met here. Skeptical of which they do not understand. Believing that if they do not see it, it means it does not exist. If you must know, I have caused the quake on the cliff to bring you all to me. I have no use for your guide, but you and everyone else will make for some riveting entertainment.
