I kind of want to enter the Pokemon game, but I'm not sure who I would use...! I'd probably have to make a whole new character or turn one of my characters into a Pokemon for it.

Hmm. Idea.
The Host has stopped Timefriend from messing with time. Implication: Sylvi can use the pink smoke to stop him doing the loops.
... Gah, I don't like having Sylvi solve everything, though. Maybe she only holds him temporarily so others can implement a better solution that they found along the way.
e: OOH BETTER IDEA. She tries holding him, somehow screws it up, and can't do it again because he starts resetting every time he so much as sees her.

A note regarding Temporal Fetters: The other end of the chain is bound only in time, not space, and can be moved about freely. If Timefriend tries using any time powers, the chain will snap taut as it holds him in time.
e: The realization that he's gonna have to break out of that somehow and I have no plans for how that will happen
