Nebula: My idea was to see who kept piling on to a person when there was no particular reason to and they were getting even slightly close to hammering. As you just pointed out, that loses us information as well as just being random. But if people are reminded of that, they're less likely to follow up on it and actually add further toward the hammering. So I didn't mention it explicitly. And did vote in accordance to what I just said.

If this was a game with a Jester type role whose goal is to be voted out I'd suspect this might be the case but I'm not sure why he'd do it here.

Lightning rod to see who would take the bait and pile on. But, that's both risky (what if it worked?) and, as you say, it was kinda random what happened anyway, so not necessarily foreseen.

Only Knife and Under have yet to say anything. TenOfSwords has been quiet, however.
I think Libre had another reason to ask that odd question, especially because he asked everyone to answer before he explained why. I have two theories.
- He was trying to get us to end the random vote phase very quickly. This seems to have worked already.
- I think it's better that I don't give this one away. If we just do what he wants here (answer his question) and I'm right, it could be more useful to town than foiling his plan would be.
