RE: Life's A Beach - wingedcatgirl - 03-24-2021

Eri tactfully refrains from commenting on Victoria's "people who want me dead" remark.

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-24-2021

Once Reina gets over the shock of seeing Dan's death scene (yes, she's seen several dead bodies by this point, still...), she

Attempts to investigate the scene (7)

He was stabbed to death in his sleep.

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-24-2021

("Great, great. Does that even help? I'm not sure.")

...I guess I'll see if I can find a murder weapon that might have prints, since it looks like he was stabbed. Did anyone else find evidence?

> Look for a murder weapon

RE: Life's A Beach - Mr. Lee Hammer - 03-24-2021

> Look for a murder weapon (8)

You find a knife in the swimming pool

RE: Life's A Beach - Mr. Lee Hammer - 03-24-2021

So they got D.B. Cooper. He was the Nephew of one of the Crows, so he wasn't part of the wars. He was a pretty good guy. Shame he had to be involved in all this.

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-24-2021

%&$@, I was saying he was one of the good guys but I didn't know he wasn't even ever involved...

> Check the knife for prints. Um, without touching it herself with bare hands. She's not overly optimistic since it's been in the water, but... (2)

You slipped on a puddle and fell into the pool.

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-24-2021

Dodgy ...I guess I should be glad I didn't cut myself with the knife when I slipped. Why can I catch a baseball and run bases but slip on stairs and poolsides. Never mind.

She climbs out of the pool and tries to dry off before anything else... (Do I need to roll for that?)

Seriously, though. Anybody else find evidence? I found a knife in the pool here.

RE: Life's A Beach - TenOfSwords13 - 03-24-2021

I found some pink strands of... something... hair-like?

RE: Life's A Beach - Kafkaesque - 03-24-2021

> leap into the pool with the intent of grabbing that knife yourself

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-24-2021

...Not-exactly-hair and pink. Gotta be Paruko, doesn't it? ...Why is it always hair or fur or not-hair being left at the scene? I already figured the last gang members were Paruko and Tony, as I said earlier, makes sense. As long as it's legit and wasn't planted. Guess we should double-check ...whether that actually matches Paruko, footprints, fingerprints, whether somebody broke into Paruko's room or wherever she was sleeping? Anyway, Tony I know for sure.

...I'm a little worried about something, though. We only found one dead person when we got up today, everybody else is okay, aren't they? So... can we only vote for one person, so the other can kill again? We're going to have to try to last another night, aren't we, and somebody's probably going to get killed? ...Or can we vote for two?

...You know, I'm going to try something else since this knife has been under water

> Try to find where the knife was taken from (maybe there's a spot for a missing knife in the kitchen), and look for fingerprints and shoeprints around that area

RE: Life's A Beach - Mr. Lee Hammer - 03-24-2021

> Try to find where the knife was taken from (maybe there's a spot for a missing knife in the kitchen), and look for fingerprints and shoeprints around that area (9)

The knife was indeed taken from the kitchen and you notice some footprints around the area.

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-24-2021

...Effin' hell. I was right. It may be circumstantial, but while they might have thought to do something about the knife, they probably didn't think about footprints near where they got the knife, did they? And who else would have been in here?

> Okay, memory. Can you remember if those footprints look identical to those that would be produced from the shoes of anyone here? Do they have a distinctive shape?

...Otherwise we're going to have to do some shoe comparisons, I guess.

(OOC: I think Seth also has an action outstanding trying to get that knife, LOL)

RE: Life's A Beach - Mr. Lee Hammer - 03-24-2021

> Okay, memory. Can you remember if those footprints look identical to those that would be produced from the shoes of anyone here? Do they have a distinctive shape? (1)

Not only can you not remember, you ended up giving yourself a blinding headache just trying to scrap your brain figuring out the footprints and have to sit down.

> leap into the pool with the intent of grabbing that knife yourself (Sorry for missing you, Seth) (9)

You managed to get into the pool and grab the knife without drowning or cutting yourself.

RE: Life's A Beach - Kafkaesque - 03-24-2021

Excellent, excellent. Once he's out of the water, Seth >checks the knife for fingerprints.

RE: Life's A Beach - Mr. Lee Hammer - 03-24-2021

>checks the knife for fingerprints. (4)

Doesn't look like there is.

RE: Life's A Beach - Kafkaesque - 03-24-2021

Hm.

> find Reina and give her the knife, since she's already checking things

RE: Life's A Beach - Mr. Lee Hammer - 03-24-2021

> find Reina and give her the knife, since she's already checking things (5)

It takes a bit for you to find her, but you do and give her the knife.

RE: Life's A Beach - Zanreo - 03-24-2021

"Pink... not-hair, you say? Let me... take a look..."

also >look for more evidence

RE: Life's A Beach - Mr. Lee Hammer - 03-24-2021

>look for more evidence (2)

You look thoroughly, but as you do, you accidentally hit your head against the wall. Other than a slight headache, you're not too badly hurt.

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-24-2021

Um... Thanks, Seth?

> Check the knife again for prints and try again to remember if anyone's feet/shoes match the prints you found

RE: Life's A Beach - Mr. Lee Hammer - 03-24-2021

> Check the knife again for prints and try again to remember if anyone's feet/shoes match the prints you found (8)

No prints on the knife itself. And the footprints could possibly match Paruko's.

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-24-2021

I'm pretty damn sure these footprints I found in the kitchen where the knife looks to be taken from are from Paruko, guys. I'm going to call that the smoking footprint.

RE: Life's A Beach - PointMaid - 03-25-2021

Do I have to do everything myself? Like always, huh... I'm gettin' tired of it, though. Look, I'm convinced. I'm gonna vote for Paruko.

>vote Paruko

...Can I get a confirmation that we can only vote for one person, too? 'Cause I'd also vote for Tony if I can. I'm not too keen in maybe getting killed in my sleep.
