After a few moments of Ranma screaming, he'd come back down soaking wet, with visible steam coming off him followed by some slight pink coloration on his face from being scalded. "Sorry about that. Just needed to. . .yeah. . . So we're all from different time periods or something?" Ranma casually asked like he didn't stick his head in scolding hot water, pony tail still dripping some water.

I mean, maybe you are. In that I'm from a different world relative to you, it's possible that my calendar system doesn't map cleanly onto yours. Of course, some argue that our start date is a little awkward, but I like it. Like, I don't think we should be dating from "when civilization first happened" or from "when the sapients rose up and claimed the world", whatever some people say. The first unification is a perfectly good start date, because so much changed then. Like, we only know the general time when civilization first happened and when sapients rose up. Records have actually been kept for the first unification... tangent aside, uhh... yeah no I don't have anything else to say at the moment.

So... yeah. It's complicated, like everything else. Don't trust people who tell you they've got all the answers. They don't. Some have a hell of a lot more of the answers, myself among them, but I don't know everything about all the fields. I've just engaged in a lot of them very heavily. Like, I couldn't tell you shit about geology.

Huh. Ruby is clearly intrigued. Yeah, there's a reason science is so specialized for the most part. Easier to tackle one problem at a time, know one set of equations at a time. Then, sometimes the terminology is at odds between disciplines. I like to get a healthy dose of different things, when I can. Despite that I also need to specialize to keep up with everyone else.

I've been all over time. Fighting Nazis, jousting with knights, ate turkey with the pilgrims, even flown with Ameliah Earhart, she crashed on an island you know and made a shelter out of coconuts.
It's quite obvious Gary is so full of shit as he says those things but he's in his own world so he sees his delusions as true.
Gary laughs at Ranma's exploits.

Wow, a bath really can make a difference. This is the best I've felt in a while, actually!

Ranma looked over at Gary befuddled. "The Black what-" And for some reason he felt a shiver down his spine. Eh, probably nothing. Once Bow comes out, looking incredibly fluffy, he snickered and nodded. "You said it. Haven't had a shower all week, except for brief moments."

Ranma has no idea why there's glowing green balls surrounding them, but soon feels. . . better than he used to be actually. "Wha- None of us have plagues. And what the heck did you just do?" Ranma asked Vivi, a bit addled by this sudden display of healing.

Uhh... yeah, immunity to disease. Right here... mind, I can still spread disease via contaminated surfaces, but I can't catch them. So if there's animalcule fomites or something, you're probably still going to catch the death mites or whatever.

Suddenly, in the lobby room, a door opened. A rather large teenager with brown hair that pointed straight up, a pair of glasses and a gray and white shirt and a brown tie with an arrow pointed upwards, and tiny legs that barely looked like they could muster the weight of his body entered the room.
"I, THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, HAVE ARRIVED TO THIS HOTEL! I apologize for any inconvience that I, Hifumi Yamada, may have caused by this arrival, but it is a pleasure to meet you all."
The boy then walked into the nearest chair, seating himself down.

...There probably is a heightened risk for disease transmission mixing us all from different time periods and places. Just wash up and don't be around other people if you feel you've come down with something. I can give protocols for bleach and alcohol decontamination. And make sure the chlorine content in the pool is high enough.

Ranma watches casually as the boy who could give his father's panda form a run for his money with how big he was. He just casually shrugged it off though, opting not to say anything about his weight. "Greetings, I guess. Name's Ranma Saotome, I'm a martial artist. You could even say the Ultimate one." Is he bragging? Hell yes he's bragging.

He hoped to dodge questions about murder.. he had killed as a zombie and regretted it to his day. . Perhaps Mr. Pico, Dr. Coomer, and the others would be willing to forgive him for his misdeeds? He surely hoped that they would.
