...Just. Look. Everybody still only described one gunshot.
I was going over this whole conversation in my head again, though. ...The girl said the dropping of the gun and the swearing was after the gun went off. You're right, that doesn't definitively rule out that Markov was running to toward the gunshot and dropped his gun. ...Going straight to bed after, though, sounded a little sketchy to me. And couldn't you have just... recovered your gun if you were going toward the scene of the crime, rather than rushing not to be discovered near it, Markov?
So. DID everyone only hear one gunshot? And was the swearing and walking going toward the direction of the shot or away from it, if you can tell?

...Or right where you heard the gunshot, pretty much. Given that I believe the gun was found right by the body.

"Well, a gun was next to the body anyway. But if there was only one shot then I'd guess it was probably the kill shot. Unless somebody has a really good silencer or something? Guns... aren't really my area of expertise."

Okay, so... you're sure Markov's sounds were moving TOWARD the single gunshot?
If that's the case, it... does make it a lot less likely it's Markov, doesn't it? So, the other guy that lost his gun. Lars? Anything else you have to say to defend yourself?
