>Also try on a glove (Amy): Yeah that fits too

RE: Like Tears in Rain - TenOfSwords13 - 01-19-2022

I directly investigated MissingNo as a cop, correct. Besides, MORI-RT's agents would probably do better by staying quiet and merely accusing once they realise they have been caught.

>Also gloves

RE: Like Tears in Rain - PointMaid - 01-19-2022

>Also gloves (Skelebob)

You can certainly fit the glove over your skeleton hand, yes. It's definitely not the snuggest fit by far, especially given that you're a skeleton.

...If there are, you don't see them, because you're too busy hitting your head on a lamp you didn't notice. Ouch.

DAY FIVE CHALLENGE

CHALLENGE DUE IN 48 HOURS FROM THIS POST. YOU MAY CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE (AND/OR VOTE) IN THE MEANTIME.

BOB-B: I do wish you good luck. Your decisions may affect not only yourselves, but have a deleterious effect on the multiverse…

MORI-RT: ...So BOB-B says. It has not provided any concrete evidence, I'll remind you.

BOB-B: We're going to go into that again? Never mind. We have a new challenge for you today. Here's the deal. We've already had quite a few people erased from their timelines… I, at least, believe the instability is already being felt. We'd like you to devise a way to stabilize the timeline of at least one person who's been eliminated.

Please describe:

1. Which contestant that has already been killed and/or executed do you stabilize the timeline of? And why?

2. How do you stabilize their timeline so that, even if they've been removed from it, it will continue to act on the whole as it had done before?

3. How will you erase your traces. There should be no evidence of interference.

RE: Like Tears in Rain - TenOfSwords13 - 01-21-2022

Hmmm... I cannot say I knew the dead that well, so... I should probably do some more research. Would returning to Kaworu's timeline be unwise?

RE: Like Tears in Rain - PointMaid - 01-21-2022

If that was directed at me... you may if you really wish to. That is your decision.

RE: Like Tears in Rain - Kennifer - 01-21-2022

1. Which contestant that has already been killed and/or executed do you stabilize the timeline of? And why?

"I'm going to pick Gwyneth. I... we executed her wrongly, and that's just... god I wish I could make it up to everyone, but after seeing her execution... yeah, I'm picking her because of that."

2. How do you stabilize their timeline so that, even if they've been removed from it, it will continue to act on the whole as it had done before?

"Ensure that her GOOP company is successful. Make some fake social media accounts with burner email addresses and promote them. Make sure any trust funds she's got set up for her kids are still intact. That sort of thing. Be as anonymous and sneaky as possible."

3. How will you erase your traces. There should be no evidence of interference.

"I'm doing all of this anonymously. If there's anything traceable it should take too much time and effort to go through all of those steps to make it worth tracing. Use of fake names, no paper trail, that sort of thing. Besides, I'm... unfortunately pretty good at disappearing and going unnoticed now after what happened... I probably don't even exist in the version of her timeline I'm working with."

RE: Like Tears in Rain - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-21-2022

1. Which contestant that has already been killed and/or executed do you stabilize the timeline of? And why?

Admittedly, it's a tough choice. Should I make it up to Gwyneth for voting her off? Or maybe do something for the recently deceased Kaworu? Hmm.... You know what? Kaworu seemed like a real nice guy. He really didn't deserved to die. Well, none of us do except for the killers, of course. But I think I will stabilize Kaworu's timeline.

2. How do you stabilize their timeline so that, even if they've been removed from it, it will continue to act on the whole as it had done before?

I'll have to act anonymous. But I'll use an online server and claim to be a mysterious friend of Kaworu's and try and help Shinji with whatever he needs to do. Give him online support to help him in his pilot career. Give him any and all support he needs until he becomes successful.

3. How will you erase your traces. There should be no evidence of interference.

After Shinji becomes successful in what he needs to do, I will erase any existence of my server and my messages via a virus that will only wipe out the proof that the server existed and the messages. Shinji might wonder what happened to the messages, who the mysterious friend is. And can't find any connections, but I did what I needed to do. I will make sure to take the computers back with me when I return back to the house and destroy them for good measure. Removing any more hard proof I was there to help him.

RE: Like Tears in Rain - TenOfSwords13 - 01-21-2022

Let me have a little poke-around then. I'll be back soon.

>Go to Kaworu's timeline

RE: Like Tears in Rain - PointMaid - 01-21-2022

>Go to Kaworu's timeline

There is:
A calm, rocky beach in the middle of nowhere.
Evangelion Unit 02 is there.
So is Shinji Ikari

RE: Like Tears in Rain - TenOfSwords13 - 01-21-2022

Shinji Ikari, I assume? I am a journalist, and I've been looking for information for a piece about Kaworu Nagisa. I've heard that you two are close, so I'd guess you could tell me about her, right?

Skelebob is trying as hard as possible to not freak Shinji out about the random skeleton appearing from seemingly nowhere.

RE: Like Tears in Rain - PointMaid - 01-21-2022

"...Her? Where are you getting your information? Who was telling you Kaworu is a girl? For that matter, who's telling you we're close? Where did you hear about him in the first place? We pretty much literally just met..."

And then Shinji sees that the interviewer is a skeleton. He yells. Skelebob is startled. He... slips and falls flat on his bone face.

RE: Like Tears in Rain - TenOfSwords13 - 01-21-2022

…sorry, wrong person.

>leave

RE: Like Tears in Rain - PointMaid - 01-21-2022

(Yes, Skelebob finds himself back in the portal room)

RE: Like Tears in Rain - TenOfSwords13 - 01-22-2022

That… did not go well… well, that was to be expected, with me being a skeleton. And I haven't known the dead too well… I suppose another night without immunity won't hurt.

RE: Like Tears in Rain - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-22-2022

We can't forget however that if we don't vote someone off tonight, the killers will win. So what should we do? Skelebob has been a help to us and may be onto something? What do you think? Should we vote off Missingno or if anyone else has any ideas?

RE: Like Tears in Rain - Despair's Archon of Memes - 01-22-2022

1. Which contestant that has already been killed and/or executed do you stabilize the timeline of? And why?
... Helena. I was... inspired by her tale... being forced to drink alcohol just to speak properly... and also desiring just to create heartwarming songs... I wanted to keep her dream alive.

2. How do you stabilize their timeline so that, even if they've been removed from it, it will continue to act on the whole as it had done before?
... Their songs, as much as they might be... painful to listen to at times... are nonetheless admirable for the sheer effort it takes to compose each one... I propose releasing these songs as an album... to make sure that, even if Helena herself disappears from the timeline... their songs can continue to be heard. For better or for worse.

3. How will you erase your traces. There should be no evidence of interference.
Simple. Keep the album's author anonymous. Many albums have authors that aren't actually known... so even if Helena disappears from the timeline... no one will know because, from the public's eye... their songs could be made by anyone!

RE: Like Tears in Rain - PointMaid - 01-22-2022

We appreciate your plans, very good. Excellent.

Passable. Not all of them submitted plans, either.

Regardless. We have come to our conclusions. Congratulations to Sakuya and Olivia. You shall have our full protection tonight.

RE: Like Tears in Rain - Kennifer - 01-22-2022

"Congrats, you two."

Amy sounded slightly nervous, but gives a friendly smile anyway.

RE: Like Tears in Rain - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-23-2022

All right, I won. But that won't matter if we don't do something right now. We need to vote and if we get the right one, we'll have another night. But if we get the wrong one, it's over. And if we put this off until the next night, it's over. So unless anyone else has any ideas on who to vote for, then I'm going to trust Skelebob and /vote Missingno.
