A Machete. How pedestrian. The question we need to ask is, is Mr. Voorhees being framed here, or did he frame himself by using his ostensible signature weapon, thus making it seem too obvious for it to be him? Or, a third option, perhaps there was just a machete lying around and someone thought to use a machete, with no thought of Mr. Voorhees.

That's utter nonsense and you know it, Dale. If I was a killer, which I patently am not, what possible reason would I have to kill someone who obsesses over me, and what possible reason would I have to kill Sollux, who I mentioned just yesterday may well be involved in this whole scheme to execute the innocents!? That makes no sense under any circumstance. I would want to keep the highly accusatory suspect alive, to meet their end in an execution falsely, would I not? But instead, Sollux, who I might add, was not the only one accusing me, dies. This reflects more poorly on YOU, Dale, because I accused you in the same breath as I accused Sollux of being involved. You'd think eliminating Sollux would perfectly frame me at last.
Of course, I have no evidence to support this proposition, but neither do you.
