It probably has something in it that hydrogen bonds with water in a different way if you're doused in it, yeah. A protein coat with polar amino acids that... Of course, since we're already mostly water... you know what, I'm not going to overthink it.

Admittedly, we're not having any luck finding any of the cats. I put some leftover chicken out for them but they haven't shown up. We want to analyze the virus, but first we have to get a specimen.

Sylvi pans the window up and down, as if nodding. Through what amounted to a long and overly complicated game of 20 questions, she had somehow managed to convey to Y'shtola and G'raha the core details of what the hell ass balls was going on here.
"Well, clearly information is already escaping," G'raha points out. "The chocobo's rather out of the stable at this point. Would this 'pink smoke' allow you to turn your window into a door?"
Sylvi pauses. Yes, but... there's a high chance of it being one-way. Cut's siblings could get here, but not back. Then again, people have already left when the host wasn't looking. Maybe... She "nods" the window.
"Well, then, let's not waste time," Y'shtola says. "We've been putting in all this effort to find you. No reason not to, what was the phrase, 'throw wide the gates'?"
"Yes, yes, that is what I said," G'raha responds.
Sylvi takes a deep breath and channels the pink smoke again...

Which was followed by Moon walking in, saying: "He doesn't mean that literally. Trust me, I know. And I was just trying to get Angel out of there, who wound up in there after drinking a bit too much."

Without warning, the door bursts open. At the same time, Sylvi staggers and drops to her knees, winded.
Two Miqo'te rush out; a man with red hair and eyes carrying a staff of crystal, and a woman with white hair and cloudy eyes carrying what looks like a witch's staff.
As they rush to Sylvi's aid, the door slams shut behind them and disintegrates into pink smoke.
I don't think I'll be letting any more of that slide. Strictly one-way summonings, in future.
