Patent Infringement
You ssee, everyone, Mark was invited here, not captured, unlike the resst of you. Mosstly becausse floran promisssed "the mosst dangerouss game". Then, floran ssaid we had no Knife Monopoly sset, no Double Arizona Rummy deck, and Ssixth fleet iss too ssoul crushing to play. Now, the lasst two of thosse are true. But anyway... floran actually jusst kind of wanted him dead. He patented one of our loyalisstss a while back, and we can't let people who kill ourss run around.
Sendri pulls out a piece of paper: Alliance Patent #333019354 "Billionaire Killer Mark February".
Hey look, a patent! Of ssomeone'ss life! That can't be good, can it? Well, anyway, that meanss we own the rightss to Mark's life, and can charge him royaltiess for the usse of it. Our royaltiess are pretty high, actually. We've already drained all your accountss, Mark. Lotss of money in there, all ourss now. Every ssecond you live, you're going deeper and deeper into debt with uss. Floran adjussted the royaltiess sso that everything you've ever owned will be ourss in about... oh, five ssecondss. Four, three, two, one.
Mark knows what's coming next. He's patented lives before.
For thosse of you who are uneducated in the processs by which patenting ssomeone'ss life killss them, here'ss a demonsstration. You ssee, we own Mark February'ss bone marrow now. It'ss no longer producing blood. Mosst of his organss are no longer on, anymore, becausse we own them, and he'ss not allowed to usse them. Watch carefully. It'ss actually quite a horrible way to die.
Mark can no longer breathe at this point. His lungs have been patented, His skin and muscles begin to break down, their functionality restricted, as they are no longer his own. After a few horrible minutes, all that's left is a pile of gore, and soon that too breaks down, leaving only clean, hollow bones behind.

The Alliance security forces pick up the bones and cart them away. Meanwhile, Sendri and a couple others walk off to the north of the island. Odd, you didn't hear the boat come by. Soon after, none of the Alliance soldiers can be found on the island, and nor can Sendri.
