All you do is get a black eye after walking into the door of Rambo's house.

That machine you bumped into at the cul-de-sac? That was a meat-making machine, which you accidentally turned on as you investigate and get your hair stuck inside it. Thinking quickly, you turn it off, though you do get some hair ripped off your scalp. Painful, but it's better than being turned into Mila Meat.

You look inside the trash can and it's all soupy and liquid. It's quite foul stuff. There might have been some bones in there too.

Looking at the hand itself, it does look like it was cleanly cut off. You head into Rambo's kitchen and find a kitchen knife inside, which you lost control and stabbed your own hand while it rests on the counter.
