RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Caret - 11-11-2021 Bow exchanges a glance towards Heeko. "You seem awfully pushy about investigating when there's not a lot to go off from. Hmmm, we could try using "social deduction" to expose the traitors, but at the the same time, the lack of evidence makes that pretty hard to do... hm, is there something we're missing here?" > search every single hut and bunker for evidence RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Cassie - 11-11-2021 > Every hut and bunker Nope. Whatever you're looking for, it's not there. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Oggy123 - 11-11-2021 "We're getting absolutely nowhere. Two people has died, and our only clue was a hair!" RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Caret - 11-11-2021 "No good. Ummmm... is there any place we haven't searched in yet? Hmmmm... what about the woods?" > search the woods for any potential firestarters RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Oggy123 - 11-11-2021 >Oh yeah, check the woods as well! RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Kennifer - 11-11-2021 "Yes, just a hair... which was oddly unburnt and possibly planted after the fact to throw us off. Unless there is something we haven't found yet, I'd wager the killer has fully covered their tracks and we don't have enough evidence to vote for anyone. Well, unless someone is acting particularly suspicious or has an alibi that doesn't line up." Holly sighs, looking... quite exasperated. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - PointMaid - 11-11-2021 I mean, I can't... yeah, I can't disagree with that. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - wingedcatgirl - 11-11-2021 "What a pain," Dubhe grumbles. Lacking any better ideas, it >examines the hair closer to see if it can figure out the exact color. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Cassie - 11-12-2021 > woods Not found > hair Blegh, it's like, blends quite a lot with the ashes color-wise "Alright, I am not going to end this investigation without someone getting executed today, so don't even think of skipping votes." RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - awe921 - 11-12-2021 ... Russell snaps their fingers. "Maybe we're not focusing on the hair enough." > Grab a cup of water from the kitchen and splash it on the hair. Also wipe it with... well, you would say the towel, but that thing's absolutely destroyed thanks to you messing with 1000 degree knives, so... Oh well, more toilet paper it is. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Cassie - 11-12-2021 > whatever the fuck Russell's doing with the hair End result? The hair looks incredibly dark. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - awe921 - 11-12-2021 > No ashes, nothing dirty on it? Clean it just a wee lil bit more to check. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - KungFuCutbug - 11-12-2021 "Wh—wh—?" [Heeko's insistence on executing someone by the end of today elicits an EXTREMELY frustrated groan (well, half-groan half-scream) from Sherry.] "The hell do you mean, we have to execute someone?! We barely have anything to go off of, and I'm like 99% certain it's not enough to reasonably convict someone! Are you trying to get us all killed, ¡¿idiota?!" [Some heavy breathing, followed by a sigh.] "Whatever. Fine. Joder esto. You want an execution, fine. We'll go off what we have. What we have is a dark hair that doesn't look like it's been dyed or any stupid shit like that. Probably not from KMIY themselves 'cause it would've gotten burnt. And there's only one other person off the top of my head who has naturally dark hair..." [She turns to Ruby.] "You. Ruby. I'm giving you a chance to defend yourself, same as June from yesterday—the boss is wearing my patience razor thin, but I want to at least be fair." RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Cassie - 11-12-2021 > is it dirty? You cleaned it, so no. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - PointMaid - 11-12-2021 The only thing I have to say is I was in my room all night. If you're insisting on voting for me despite that... nothing I say is going to help, is it? RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - KungFuCutbug - 11-12-2021 "Not exactly...? I'm giving you a chance to convince me not to vote for you. If I was insisting on voting for you anyway, I would've done that immediately before asking you to defend yourself, aye?" [Sherry looks to the side for a moment.] "...Though I guess if you have nothing else you can say, not much else we can really do. Just—if you're innocent, don't take it personally. Blame the boss and his completely and utterly asinine demands that someone get executed before nightfall based on literal shreds of evidence! Jefes corporativos, lo juro..." /vote Ruby Ramirez RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Despair's Archon of Memes - 11-12-2021 ... Sorry... But we're trying our best here. We're facing a dangerous force... And this is the best evidence we have. If you end up innocent... I... am... SO.. SO... SO... Sorry. It's not personal. It's just this crummy situation we're in. /vote Ruby Ramirez RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - MadameButterflyKnife - 11-12-2021 We really don't have fucking anything to go off of. If this is wrong...I'll admit. I still don't fully trust all of you. But I'll at least get a bit fucking closer to finding out who I really shouldn't trust. RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - MadameButterflyKnife - 11-12-2021 oh shit i forgot to vote lmao /vote Ruby RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - wingedcatgirl - 11-12-2021 "If they're going to execute whoever has the most votes, we can leave it at one, I'd think. If someone has a compelling argument to execute someone else, they should present it." RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Kennifer - 11-12-2021 "I do want to look at all of the possibilities here, especially with only one small piece of evidence. So... the obvious choice would be that Ruby did it and got a bit sloppy when cleaning up, leaving a single hair behind. There is also the possibility that someone took one of Ruby's hairs in order to frame her. Why her particularly I don't know. The other possibility is that the killer took one of the hairs off of our darker-haired victim, and left it deliberately after the fire died down, again with the possible attempt to frame Ruby." Holly sighs, looking quite disappointed. "Very often, though, the simplest explanation is the best. Occam's Razor and all that. I... I didn't want to believe that Ruby could be a killer. She's my roommate. I had hoped that because of our similar interests, we could become friends. But... last night I would not have noticed if she left the room during the night. There is absolutely nothing else to go on. I very much don't want to do this, but since you will not allow me to skip voting..." With a heavy sigh, Holly will... /vote Ruby RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Caret - 11-12-2021 "Unfortunately Ruby, the hair seems to match up closely with your hair." Bow lets out a massive sigh. "We have to consider what purpose the hair could have had. Was it something the traitors accidentally left behind? ...Probably not, considering that the absolute lack of evidence outside of the hair. Did the traitors plant it on purpose so they can get an innocent executed? Maybe. Or... was somebody trying to frame themselves on purpose? Hmmmm... wonder why somebody would try to get themselves executed..." RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Caret - 11-12-2021 "But for now... I don't want to do this, but..." /vote Ruby RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - Oggy123 - 11-12-2021 "Well, this is the only clue we've got, and you're the one with black hair, so..." Nintendo seem reluctant to do this, especially since it's really the only evidence they got, but he has no other choice. /vote Ruby RE: The Aurora Project - Day 3: Total Scorch - wingedcatgirl - 11-12-2021 "Y'all are really doing this? Just running forward on this bandwagon?" |
