i love it when psychology textbooks refer to a trans kid by their dead pronouns when trying to talk about a transgender child
seriously you can't just say people said "Congratulations! It's a boy!" and then just use she/her for the child from then on

why do textbooks feel the need to consistently identify a person by their pronouns during the duration of their time period instead of just using the current name with passing deadnaming
